Sirens sounded in Jerusalem and central Israel

Israel’s Channel 12 reports that Iranian missile attacks on Israel triggered air raid sirens in central Israel, including Jerusalem.

The Israeli military had earlier warned of an incoming missile attack from Iran.

“War in Iran has not triggered migration to the European Union”

European Union leaders stated today that the war in Iran has so far not triggered migration to the EU, but emphasized the need to maintain a high level of vigilance and ensure preparedness.

The statement notes that the EU is ready to fully mobilize its diplomatic, legal, operational, and financial tools to prevent uncontrolled migration flows and to protect security in Europe, Reuters reports.

It adds that the EU is prepared to support diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions and achieve a lasting end to hostilities in the Middle East region.
