The statement says that “the enemy is using copies of Iranian drones to attack neighboring countries in order to shift responsibility onto Iran,” according to state media.
Tehran commonly uses the term “the enemy” as a reference to the United States and Israel, which carried out another attack on Iran on February 28.
The statement added that copies of the Iranian “Shahed-136” drone, known as LUCAS, were used in attacks on “insignificant targets in countries of the region,” including incidents in Turkey, Iraq, and Kuwait.
No evidence was presented to support these claims, and the military command stressed that Iran openly announces its targets, which it describes as interests of the United States and Israel.
Iran’s Joint Military Command also used the opportunity to once again call for trust and cooperation among countries in the region.
