Israeli warplanes create noise over Beirut

Israeli military aircraft today dropped propaganda leaflets over Beirut, causing a series of sonic booms in the sky and frightening the capital’s residents, Al Arabiya reported.

According to reports, four consecutive sonic booms were heard in Beirut at short intervals before clouds of paper leaflets appeared high in the air. State media stated that the noise was caused by Israeli planes flying at very low altitudes and dropping leaflets over multiple areas, particularly Verdun, Hamra, and Ain al-Mreiseh, western neighborhoods of Beirut.

One of the dropped leaflets, addressed to the Lebanese people, read: “You must disarm Hezbollah, the Iranian shield” and “Lebanon is your decision, not someone else’s.”

Caine: Strait of Hormuz a complex area, Iran still capable of threatening allies and ships

The Strait of Hormuz represents a “tactically complex area,” U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine stated today, warning that Iran “still has the capability to threaten allies and commercial vessels.”

At a press conference, Caine emphasized that before the U.S. sends a large number of ships through the strait, it must achieve its military objectives and prepare all necessary measures, CBS News reported.

“Before we send anything there on a larger scale, we want to make sure we are following our current military objectives,” Caine stressed.

During the conference, Caine also spoke about U.S. casualties in the conflict, noting that the “vast, vast majority” of injured service members received medical care and returned to duty.

He specified that American soldiers were injured in countries such as Kuwait—where six were killed in an Iranian attack on a tactical operations center—as well as in Jordan and Saudi Arabia, adding that most injuries resulted from “drone” attacks rather than direct firefights.

Trump: Strikes on Iran will be even harsher next week

U.S. President Donald Trump spoke briefly to Fox News this morning, stating that the U.S. plans to target objectives in Iran “very strongly” during the coming week, Reuters reported.

Trump’s latest statement is just a continuation of his aggressive rhetoric.

On the Truth Social network, he mocked Iranian leaders, calling them “deranged scum” and saying it is “a great honor” for him to be able to kill them.
