The hostilities have widened beyond direct Iran‑Israel confrontations, with nations in the Persian Gulf reporting incoming Iranian projectiles and activating air defenses to intercept drones and ballistic missiles.

During the night, a residential building in downtown Beirut was hit. Qatari authorities announced that they had intercepted missiles in their airspace.

Beirut, after apartment building strike

Israel struck a residential building in downtown Beirut today, marking the second attack on the Lebanese capital in the past three days, Lebanese state media reported.

So far, there has been no comment from the Israeli military, nor any reports of casualties, Reuters reports.

In the previous attack in Beirut, five members of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps were killed.

In the Israeli strike, two floors of a residential building in downtown Beirut were completely destroyed, one above the other, and emergency response teams are on site trying to extinguish the fire, Al Jazeera reports.

So far, it is not known who was the target of the attack, which occurred in a densely populated neighborhood without prior warning.

Iran launches new attacks on U.S. bases in Qatar, Kuwait, and Iraq

Iran has launched a new wave of missile attacks on the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, Camp Arifjan in Kuwait, and Harir in Iraq, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced today.

In addition, the Iranian military carried out a “massive missile strike” on the U.S. Fifth Fleet in the region, and the ISNA agency reported that “the operational infrastructure of the U.S. military has been destroyed,” describing it as the “most devastating and intense operation” since the start of the war.

Earlier, a spokesperson for the Iranian military called on countries in the Middle East to reveal the locations of “American-Zionist forces,” emphasizing that U.S. and Israeli forces are killing civilians.

He urged regional countries to disclose to Iran where U.S. and Israeli forces are hiding, in order to “minimize harm to civilians”.

Iran’s message to the citizens of Israel

“Complete destruction, panicked leaders, and defense in disarray. And we have only just begun”
