It is unclear what caused the fire or whether it has affected the operation of the facility or its personnel.

Overnight, Middle Eastern countries were once again targeted by Iranian missile and drone attacks, in which at least 32 people were injured in Bahrain, while Israel continued strikes against the pro-Iranian militant group Hezbollah in Lebanon, hitting the southern suburbs of Beirut, media reports say.

In an Iranian drone attack on the Sitra settlement in Bahrain early this morning, at least 32 people were injured, four seriously, the country’s National Communication Centre told CNN.

Among the injured in attacks targeting residential areas near energy infrastructure were also children, according to the National Commission for Protection (NCC) of Bahrain.
