He got furious and sent a message to Trump: It's not a mistake and we know it!
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said today that the intrusion of Russian drones into his country's airspace was not a mistake.
"We too would like the drone attack on Poland to have been a mistake. But it wasn't. And we know it," Tusk said in a post on the X social network.
Tusk's comment came in response to US President Donald Trump's statement that the Russian drone incursion into Poland could have been a mistake.
"It could have been a mistake, but regardless, I'm not happy about anything to do with this whole situation. I hope it comes to an end," Trump told reporters at the White House.
Poland has asked allies for additional air defense systems and anti-drone technology to better protect itself from Russian incursions after an incident earlier this week in which drones crossing into its territory from Ukraine and Belarus were shot down by NATO forces.
