The Russian army destroyed 105 drones and Ukrainian positions in the Kharkiv region

Over the past night, Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 105 Ukrainian drones over various Russian regions, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced today.

The drones were shot down in Belgorod Oblast, Bryansk, Rostov Oblast and Krasnodar Oblast, as well as near the Sea of Azov, TASS reported.

The largest number of drones, 26, was destroyed over Belgorod, while 25 were shot down over Bryansk region.

Russian authorities say that during the night, 23 drones were also intercepted over the Rostov region and nine over the Sea of Azov.

A smaller number of drones were intercepted in the Kursk, Stavropol, Tambov, Voronezh and Oryol regions.

At the same time, Russian troops made significant progress on the front.

The crews of the "BM-21 Grad" missile systems of the 44th Army Corps of the Northern Group of Forces destroyed Ukrainian checkpoints of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as military units and armored vehicles in the direction of Kharkiv.

The Russian military reported successful attacks in the Veliky Burluk and Melove areas, where Ukrainian forces suffered heavy losses in one day, including up to 160 soldiers killed, seven vehicles destroyed, five artillery pieces and an ammunition depot.
