Brutal attack: School hit, dozens dead; Among the victims are women and children VIDEO
At least 20 people were killed today, and dozens were wounded in an Israeli attack on a school where displaced people are housed, the authorities of the Palestinian enclave announced, according to Israeli media.
The attack took place in Daraj Quartet, and women and children are among the victims.
As Al Jazeera TV station reported, the Gaza civil defense announced that it managed to bring under control the fire that broke out after the Israeli attack on the Fahmi Al-Jarjawi school.
According to Al Jazeera, 25 people died in the attack. The Civil Defense of Gaza announced on Telegram that the bodies of 13 dead people have been recovered so far, and that 21 people have been injured.
The number of victims is feared to be higher, given that the school housed a large number of displaced Gazans, and many people are still buried under the rubble.
According to Al Jazeera, many children were burned or suffered severe burns.
The video shows a little girl trying to escape in the fire.
Members of the civil defense stated that half of the building was destroyed, and that the bombs caused extensive damage.
