Hamas announced: There is no agreement
No progress has been made so far in the negotiations in Doha to end the war in Gaza and release the hostages, an official of the Palestinian militant group Hamas said today.

"So far no breakthrough or progress has been made in the ongoing Doha talks due to continued Israeli intransigence," a Hamas source told the BBC.
The official said Hamas has expressed its willingness to release all Israeli hostages in one phase, "on the condition of reaching a comprehensive and permanent ceasefire agreement - something the Israeli side continues to reject, as their negotiating team does not have a mandate to decide on key issues".
"Israel is obstructing any possibility of reaching an agreement," the source added, stressing that Hamas "rejects any partial or temporary arrangements."
A Hamas official reiterated that the group is seeking a comprehensive deal that includes the release of all hostages held in Gaza in exchange for an agreed number of Palestinian prisoners, a permanent ceasefire, a full Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and the entry of humanitarian aid.
According to the source, "Israel wants to return its hostages in one or two groups, in exchange for a temporary truce."
Two days ago, a new round of indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas began in Doha, while at the same time Israel launched a wide-ranging "Gideon's Chariot" ground offensive in the Gaza Strip.
