The end of "Voice of America"?
The administration of the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, is considering the sale of the main building of the Voice of America (VOA) in Washington, as part of an effort to reduce government assets, Bloomberg reported.

The Wilbur J. Cohen Federal Building, which is the headquarters of the VOA, is part of a broader plan to shrink the scope of the federal government.
The possible sale comes as Trump tries to shut down VOA and its sister networks, including Radio Free Europe, Radio Free Asia and others.
The move follows the cancellation of a 15-year lease for VOA in the new building in Washington.
The VOA building, located just south of Nationals Park and just two blocks from the Capitol, was originally built for Social Security.
Today, it also houses the offices of the Global Media Agency (which is the parent agency of VOA) and the Ministry of Health and Human Services.
The move could leave VOA employees and contractors out of a job, Bloomberg reports, even if they succeed in challenging Trump's funding cuts, and comes after Trump's director of the Global Media Agency canceled a 15-year lease for a new office in Washington.
While a federal judge temporarily halted Trump's termination of the VOA, an appeals court allowed him to continue with his plan to cut funding, until those journalists can prove their removals were illegal or unfair.
In previous months, buildings for sale included federal courthouses in Los Angeles and Cleveland, a food safety laboratory in St. Louis and the Department of Housing and Urban Development headquarters in Washington.
