The organizers of the US Open decided to schedule the semi-final duel between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz in the daytime.

This means that Djokovic and Alcaraz will play on Friday from 15:00 local time, i.e. from 21:00 Serbian time.

The organizers of the US Open thus decided to put the Serb and the Spaniard in the ideal time slot for our venues, but worse time-slot locally.

The reason is that, although this match is certainly more expecting than the other semi-finals, Djokovic and Alcaraz played their quarter-finals a day before Sinner and Auger-Aliassime, so in this way the practice of them playing first in the semi-finals is respected.

The second semi-final is also scheduled for Friday, and Jannik and Felix will compete at 19:00 local time, i.e. 1:00 a.m. CET (Friday to Saturday).
