Seven Serbian tennis players at the Madrid Open
Madrid Open starts this Wednesday, April 23, and will last until May 4.

Serbia will be represented at this tournament by seven tennis players: Novak Djoković, Miomir Kecmanović, Hamad Medjedović, Laslo Djere, Dušan Lajović, Olga Danilović and Teodora Kostović.
Novak Djokovic, the fifth ranked tennis player in the world, is free in the first round of the ATP Masters.
The match of the second round will be played against the winner of the duel between Matteo Arnaldi and the qualifiers.
Miomir Kecmanović (ATP 47) takes the court on the first day of the tournament, and his opponent will be Lorenzo Sonego (43) from Italy.
Hamad Medjedović (61) will play a first-round match against Tomás Martín Etcheverry (51) from Argentina, also on Wednesday.
Laszlo Djere (71) will find out the name of his opponent after the qualifying rounds.
Dušan Lajović (138) made it to the main draw through qualifications, first defeating Argentinian Thiago Agustin Tirante (134), and then Chilean tennis player Cristian Garín (214). His opponent in the first round will be determined later.
Olga Danilović (WTA 34) is one of the two female tennis players to represent Serbia at the WTA 1000 series tournament.
In the first round, she will play against the former number 1, the Belarusian Victoria Azarenka (48).
Teodora Kostović (625) achieved career success by passing the qualifications and thereby justifying the special invitation she received.
The title in the men's competition is defended by Russian Andrei Rublev, and in the women's competition by Poland's Iga Swiatek.
