Terrifying revelation: "Kavač Clan" planned to assassinate Vučić
DNP President Milan Knežević said that the “Kavač clan” had considered the possibility of an assassination attempt against Aleksandar Vučić while he was president of Serbia.
According to Knežević, the assassination attempt was planned to be carried out during Vučić’s recent visit to Tivat for the EU–Western Balkans Summit.
Knežević also said that he had received the information about 15 days earlier.
He made the claims while answering questions from social media followers on his podcast, Ni korak nazad sa Milanom Kneževićem (“No Step Back with Milan Knežević”).
Asked whether Vučić had visited him in Zeta when he came to Tivat, Knežević said:
“That is not true, nor was it planned. I want to share an exclusive piece of information: the ‘Kavač clan’ had considered the possibility of an assassination attempt against Aleksandar Vučić, specifically based on the possibility that he would stop by my home and travel toward Tivat via Podgorica, Cetinje, Budva, Jaz and Tivat”.
“There were two locations where they planned to carry out the assassination attempt against Vučić. I received this operational information 15 days ago, and I am now sharing it on this podcast, which, in my view, shows that I was right that the ‘Kavač clan’ was interested in bringing about a change of government in Serbia, either through Vučić’s assassination or by financing this blockade movement. Simply eliminating Vučić and the Serbian state, which has taken on organized criminal groups from Montenegro. Vučić did not stop by my home, but the Kavač clan’s assessment was that if he did, they could try to use that opportunity to carry out an assassination attempt against him,” he added.
Vučić took part in the EU–Western Balkans Summit in Tivat on June 4 and 5.
He traveled to Tivat despite numerous security threats that Serbian security agencies had publicly warned him about.
In response to requests from his closest associates not to go to Tivat, Vučić said that he was not afraid.
