“Upon receiving the letters of credence from Ambassador Lytvynenko, I warmly welcomed him with my sincerest wishes for successful work and a pleasant stay in Serbia. I expressed my confidence that the constructive cooperation we had with the previous ambassador will continue in the future.

I conveyed that Serbia is ready to advance cooperation with Ukraine on the principles of mutual respect, international law, and the preservation of peace and stability. I also emphasized that Serbia and Ukraine have room to develop economic, multilateral, and sectoral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

I underlined the importance of establishing peace as a key prerequisite for the stability and prosperity of the entire European continent, as well as for a better and safer life for all citizens,” Vučić wrote on Instagram.

Meeting with the Ambassador of India

Shortly afterward, Vučić also received the letters of credence from India’s newly appointed ambassador, Abhishek Shukla.

“I wished Ambassador Shukla a successful mandate in Serbia, confident that his engagement will make a significant contribution to further strengthening overall relations between Serbia and India. I emphasized the importance of the traditionally friendly relations between Serbia and India, based on close ties established during the Non-Aligned Movement.

During the conversation with Ambassador Shukla, I expressed Serbia’s commitment to further developing comprehensive and mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation with India, through intensified political dialogue and further increasing the volume of trade in goods and services with India.

I particularly highlighted Serbia’s interest in actively contributing to the responsible and ethical development of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in cooperation with India, one of the global leaders in the IT sector, confident that such a partnership will further strengthen the relations between our countries in the new technological era. Serbia views India as a reliable and strategic partner in connecting innovation ecosystems, research centers, and universities, as well as in the exchange of experts, knowledge, and young talent, which provides a strong foundation for long-term development and cooperation,” Vučić wrote on Instagram.
