The biggest military parade in the recent history of Serbia: Here's what awaits us on Saturday

The parade will consist of several stages. First of all, it will be a parade of echelon units of members of almost all branches and services.

There will also be representatives of the Ground Army - First, Second, Third, Fourth Brigade, then from the 72nd Special Operations Brigade, 63rd Parachute Brigade, Special Purpose Detachment "Cobra", as well as a special sub-echelon of Military Academy cadets and finally a sub-echelon of military veterans. After the parade of the echelon of units, the echelon of the unit on vehicles sets off.

At this parade, units of the Serbian Armed Forces will present their representative assets from their jurisdiction, including reconnaissance, special and infantry units, armored, artillery, missile, air defense units, as well as telecommunications and electronic warfare units.

After that, there will be a parade of vessels led by the special purpose vessel "Kozara", multi-purpose vessels, minesweepers, river patrol vessels and boats, among which modernized vessels will be displayed. Everything will take place on the nearby river, on the stretch from Ušće to Branko's Bridge.

At the very end, a parade of the aviation echelon is expected, where aircraft - airplanes and helicopters - will be presented.

The Serbian Army is being modernized: New systems and more than 260 weapons

The head of the Directorate for Defense Technologies, Major General Slavko Rakić, pointed out that the Serbian Army has significantly strengthened its equipment in the last few years.

"In recent years, the Serbian Army has significantly armed itself and equipped itself with more than 260 weapons and military equipment, ranging from simple to more complex, such as 'Lazar', 'Milos', tracked vehicles and tanks, air defense systems and unmanned aerial vehicles," emphasized the head of the Directorate for Defense Technologies of the Material Resources Sector of the Ministry of Defense, Major General Slavko Rakić.

Major Radojevic invited citizens to witness the strength of the army on Saturday

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Army, Major Nemanja Radojević, had a message for all citizens:

"I hereby invite all citizens to, together with us - members of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces, celebrate this festive holiday for us on Saturday and to come and see for themselves the strength of our army and how far greater it was than in any previous period, and to see that they can enjoy each day in peace and tranquility, because they are protected by the Serbian Armed Forces which guarantee the safety of every citizen".

"Power of Unity 2025" parade: 10,000 soldiers, 650 vehicles and a 300-meter flag

At the parade, we will see a 300-meter-long flag, which will be carried by the students of our military schools.

According to estimates, around 10,000 members of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defense will participate in the "Power of Unity 2025", and around 650 vehicles will parade through the streets, not counting aircraft and vessels that will cruise from Ušće to Branko's bridge.
