Vučević: Elections held in unprecedented conditions; We had the grossest violation of pre-election silence

He congratulated the citizens of Kosjerić and Zaječar on their election, as well as the party on its great victory in almost impossible conditions.

"This has never happened, that citizens could not exercise their civil rights without difficulty," he said at the beginning.

He pointed out that this is a great result for the party, "a huge victory in conditions that we have not had before".

"A great victory in Zaječar, our list won 14,199 votes, 47.12 percent, i.e. 27 mandates out of 50. So, an absolute majority and we will be able to form a local self-government. The other list "Changes in which we believe" won 34.22 percent, United for Zaječar 4 mandates and those are the only three lists that passed the census. This is a great result for us due to the huge turnout, 63.64 percent. We got 4,000 more votes than we had in the local elections in 2021," Vučević pointed out.

Speaking about the results in Kosjerić, Vučević said that it was a clear victory.

"A clear victory for our list in Kosjerić as well, all 29 minutes signed by everyone who participated in the elections with a small margin, but that's democracy. The turnout is 84.19 percent. Our list received 3,686 votes, 50.01 percent. A narrow but sweet and clean victory. I can't say in a fair atmosphere. United for Kosjerić won 49.32 percent. We have acheived the same result from the election in 2023, they improved by 700 votes," said Vučević.

He added that he expects to see how the ODIHR will react, as well as all those who follow the election processes, and that they will prosecute everyone who violated election rules and procedures.

He said that he will draw lessons within the party from these elections.
