Students who want to study announced their decision to go on a hunger strike; "A deadline to the state..."

The representative of students who want to study, Miloš Pavlović, said that after talking with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and his appeal not to start a hunger strike, as well as after consulting with other colleagues and talking with parents, they decided that now they are giving the state a deadline to solve all problems by June 28, otherwise they will really go on hunger strike.

Pavlović first pointed out that students who want to study strongly condemn the attacks on the Professor of the Faculty of Law, which happened on Monday.

"Such behavior is inadmissible and casts a shadow over the entire academic community. While incidents like this are happening, we, the students who want to study, are prevented from entering our faculties. And while we, who want to study, are outside, the doors of the faculty are opened to some students who commit violence," said Pavlović, saying that this is an absurd situation.

"After the pleas sent to us by President Vučić and after the pleas of several ministers, and especially after the pleas of our parents, our mothers, fathers, we made the decision to stay in Pionirski Park and to now give the state a deadline to resolve things until Vidovdan, June 28," said Palvlović at a press conference organized in Pionirski Park.

"If it doesn't solve it, we really go on hunger strike. There's no joking about it. It's not a political performance, it's simply the last step in our fight against injustice," he said.
