Yesterday, despite the incidents caused by the opposition and the continuous disruption of work, the MPs finished the unified principle discussion.

Among the 62 items on the agenda, in addition to the amendments to the Law on Higher Education, which stipulates that tuition fees for students will be reduced by 50 percent, three more laws from the field of education will be considered in detail.

Moreover, a set of financial laws is on the agenda, among which is the Bill on the Protection of Users of Financial Services, which limits interest rates on almost all types of loans.

In front of the MPs are several agreements, as well as contracts on the confirmation of credit arrangements for the financing of certain infrastructure projects, and on the agenda is also a document on receiving the first part of aid from the Reform Agenda of Serbia with the EU of 112 million euros.

The resignation of Prime Minister Miloš Vučević should also be noted at the session, which will be done after the discussion on all items on the agenda is finished.

Yesterday's work was marked by incidents and riots caused by opposition MPs who, after setting the agenda, threw smoke bombs in the assembly hall, injuring three female MPs.

In addition to smoke bombs, they threw eggs at MPs and members of the government, and at one point they activated the fire extinguisher.

Throughout the day, the opposition MPs blew whistles and vuvuzelas and did not participate in the debate which the majority MPs continued despite all the incidents.

The President of the Assembly, Ana Brnabić, told the opposition that if they don't have anything stronger than shock bombs and tear gas and fire extinguishers, they shouldn't show up, because they didn't scare them yesterday.

She also said that members of the Criminal Police Directorate came to the Assembly last night to investigate the use of pyrotechnic devices and endangering lives during the session.
