If anything, Moscow is providing Belgrade leverage to use against Brussels and further unreasonable behavior. Nowhere has it been said that Serbia is giving up on joining the EU, so all the other speculation of some sort of switch is bs, unless both Brussels insists on extraordinary demands on Belgrade (the process can always be 'paused') and the EU itself implodes, which is not so impossible as it once seemed. Just look at former Belgian PM Guy Verhofstadt who is in the running to replace Martin Schultz for President of the European Parliament. Guy says the problem is "too little Europe", i.e. further integration is the solution. Idiot.

Like I said before, sooner or later the time is going to come when Vucic will have to decide between Russia and the EU.

It looks like Russia is starting to turn the screws and forcing him to make that decision sooner rather then later.
