Dacic wants EU to respect status-neutrality of Kosovo

If Serbia didn't want Kosovo treated as a country why did it sign Brussels? Why did it agree to the telecom deal?

The most important part of this story is missing out. If b92 is reporting what Dacic said, which is true that he said all the things that are in this news article, but why not report on what Kosova FM Hoxha said in the same meeting!?
I know what FM Hoxha said and he nailed Dacic pretty bad.

Is Dacic speaking in his name or Sloba's name?

Does Hoxha know where Milosevic died and who sent him there? Seems like Serbia has done more for reconciliation than any other country in the balkans. Kosovo allows KLA leaders to be in government!

I don't understand why does Kosovo needs to be recognized by serbia? Kosovo people should ignore what serbia says or does . Just live your life and carry on . I think serbia needs Kosovo more ,that Kosovo needs serbia

Divida e Impera! I will never understand that "philosophy" of status of neutrality. But I do understand the Serbian loyalty to Russia and any costs known as the phenomen of self-infliction. Serbia will never be loyal to European Union.

I think the EU is going to crumble after Brexit, as what I am hearing there are massive rumblings in Italy and Spain about pulling out.

If only it was that simple, but its not. They need recognition from Serbia more than any of the others they have to date. In reality Kosovo is a backwater that has no industry, little agriculture and some minerals, and it is not sustainable on its own. Hey if the EU did not fund Kosovo there would be no police schools or even jobs. About 80% of all direct and indirect employment is borne about by EU funds. Kosovo needs to function a part of something bigger not on its own.

Serbia does not treat Kosovo as a country becasue it signed the Brussels Agreement not Brussels Treaty - there is a huge difference. Between nations treaties are signed.

Division of assets between state and federal institutions is a common occurrence and that is how the Telecom deal is handled. Norfolk Island is part of Australia but for all intense it runs its affairs, raises taxes and controls who comes in to live. However, for election purposes it is part of a Sydney electorate.

Kosovo needs to function a part of something bigger not on its own.

Actually, if Kosovo and Albania remove border and customs controls, they would save money because they no longer need to pay the border police and customs officers, so no funding from the EU needed to abolish the border.

So, I agree that the idea proposed by the CE of B92 forums sj about Kosovo becoming part of Albania is really brilliant, as all of his/her ideas!
