The truth always takes a while to come out. Syria is a war over gas and oil. The Saudis/Washington windbags want to pipe oil/gas from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq through Syria to the Mediterranean sea thus making Russian energy to the EU obsolete. However, the Russians are having none of that and are about to take Allepo thus completely cutting that idea to shreds. Meanwhile the Iranians can at any time block/mine the Straits of Hormuz and all oil/gas stops from flowing to the west.

That is why Syria is in flames. If it was not so serious and tragic with all this death and displacement it would be a comedy of US errors.

Has the ring of truth about it, doesn't it? So often the actual chronology of events is ignored in western media, which allows the warmongers to cover their tracks.

"Here's a good reason to also consider Moscow's motive to intervene in Syria, and even the recent meeting in Ankara between Turkish President Erdogan and Russian President Putin and their agreement to revive the plans to build the Turkish Stream pipeline,"

*** of course gas was one of the Russian motives but not the main one because it gives only 15% of the Russian energy exports while jihadists were a direct threat to the Russia’s existence. Should Assal collapse they would move here to explode the central Asia and Caucasus. Russia is only 605 km away from Syria while Turkey still supports the Islamic Brothers.

President Roosevelt - organized another coup, this time to remove Iranian President Mosaddegh, who nationalized the oil industry...

*** Mossadeq was removed during Eisenhower in 1953

"The coups that Americans organized for reasons of energy and resources are family issues: in the past it was the Roosevelts, the Kennedys, and now it is the Clintons," writes Il Sole 24 Ore, a newspaper of Italian business circles.”

*** What about the Bushes and the Halliburton ? Presidency is business as usual …

After the collapse of the Ottoman Empire the French and the British in 1916 carved up the Middle East into their zones of interest,

*** as a result Kurds found themselves in 5 countries including Armenia, Shiia and Alawite peoples were divided among several others while the Sunni became a national minority in Iraq, Lebanon and oppressed in Bahrein
