It's obvious that Serbia has been trying to stoke the fire ever since it began its bid for EU membership.
The sad thing is that Serbia uses rhetoric referring to WWII to try and gain sympathy from the international community, instead of owning up to its own guilt for the trail of blood it left behind in the Balkans during the 90s.
Nikolić himself is referred to as a "reformed ultra-nationalist". Only in Serbia can they come up with such a term. I've never heard of such a thing.
Sabre rattling doesn't do anyone any good and so far in this war of words I have only heard Serbia hint at such a thing.
Repetition of lies by Serbia isn't helping either. It's obvious that certain events in Yugoslav history need to be questioned. Just because Yugoslavia, at the height of communism sentenced someone, doesn't mean the ruling has to be accepted as just. However it seems to me that in Serbs minds, any communist ruling that supports their rhetoric is accepted as good, while any ruling that does not go in their favor is ignored.

Of course albanians have a massive shlong. That's why thousands of albanian women married americans who served in Kosovo. Besides in Albania the population is declining. Kosovo is like most other places with an uncomtrolable birthrate: poor, undeveloped and where muslim womens main purpose is to give birth. Last year, Croatia closed borders with Serbia over the migrant crisis and Serbia responded with economic sanctions. Within 24 hours, Croatia received condemnation from Hungary, Slovenia & the EU and then called off closing the borders for fear of Croatian goods not being sold in Serbia. Just a month ago, Croatia said they would not open up Serbia's EU accession chapters 23 and 24 and within a week they capitulated.
Are those examples of Croatia ruling the Balkans? Seriously, on what planet do you live on?
And Milanovic is supposed to be apart of the non-nationalist "social democrat" party. Just goes to show you how mainstream Croatian politics and those who vote for the two main parties are mentally disturbed. Keep it up, when there becomes pressure to ban Croatian exports and to nationalize Croatian-owned Idеа, Меrkаtоr, Аgrоkоr, Rоdа, Аtlаntik grupа, Frikоm, Sоkо Štаrk, Dijamant etc., their tune will change very fast.
Keep calm and carry on. We really shouldn't dignify these things with a response at all.
The only response I can see is for someone, perhaps a consumer group, to make a list of Croatian products on the Serbian market, and offer alternatives at similar prices. If there are no alternatives, Serbia should produce them themselves.

Last year, Croatia closed borders with Serbia over the migrant crisis and Serbia responded with economic sanctions. Within 24 hours, Croatia received condemnation from Hungary, Slovenia & the EU and then called off closing the borders for fear of Croatian goods not being sold in Serbia. Just a month ago, Croatia said they would not open up Serbia's EU accession chapters 23 and 24 and within a week they capitulated.
Are those examples of Croatia ruling the Balkans? Seriously, on what planet do you live on?
Look at Serbs. Just yesterday they said "we won't answer on Croatia's (provocations) now this". For people like this we have a saying "if their mouth doesn't talk, their behind will start talking".

Of course albanians have a massive shlong. That's why thousands of albanian women married americans who served in Kosovo. Besides in Albania the population is declining. Kosovo is like most other places with an uncomtrolable birthrate: poor, undeveloped and where muslim womens main purpose is to give birth. If they had a choice they would leave you talibans in a heartbeat.
Keep calm and carry on. We really shouldn't dignify these things with a response at all.
The only response I can see is for someone, perhaps a consumer group, to make a list of Croatian products on the Serbian market, and offer alternatives at similar prices. If there are no alternatives, Serbia should produce them themselves.
Other than that, just ignore it, which I shall do from now on.

Lenard you do know that these two words do not match one another! Why should you motto such BS all the time? Who are you going to persuade Serbs or yourselves or the Russians or the Germans? Civil war components were brought by the Nazi to every place where Wehrmacht troops reached. They deliberately made their opponents fight one another. So were the Communists and the Chetniks. And all those post-war trials were nothing but vendetta of the great Croat. You cannot deny that Yugoslavia was the only state where vast partisan movement existed for years but not for months when the Soviets approached in 1944. Chetniks were the first to rebel against Hitler and his allies like Pavelic. It’s the pride and the glory of the Serbs and they will never accept your point. It’s stupid to deny the evident to say nothing that it brings you no dividends.
It's obvious that Serbia has been trying to stoke the fire ever since it began its bid for EU membership.
The sad thing is that Serbia uses rhetoric referring to WWII to try and gain sympathy from the international community, instead of owning up to its own guilt for the trail of blood it left behind in the Balkans during the 90s.
Nikolić himself is referred to as a "reformed ultra-nationalist". Only in Serbia can they come up with such a term. I've never heard of such a thing.
Sabre rattling doesn't do anyone any good and so far in this war of words I have only heard Serbia hint at such a thing.
Repetition of lies by Serbia isn't helping either. It's obvious that certain events in Yugoslav history need to be questioned. Just because Yugoslavia, at the height of communism sentenced someone, doesn't mean the ruling has to be accepted as just. However it seems to me that in Serbs minds, any communist ruling that supports their rhetoric is accepted as good, while any ruling that does not go in their favor is ignored.
Time for Serbia to own up to its guilt from the last war and to stop trying to blind everyone with WWII rhetoric.

Serb nationalists, a minority, deny Bosniaks, Montenegrins, Macedonians except Kosovars (thankfully) their culture in order to turn them to second class people, so to control and intimidate. When you denigrate a persons cultural heritage it is regarded as an existential threat not a compliment.
