What is all this about? All of a sudden we have Croatia openly supporting Ustashe. Now Zagreb would never do this unless it was unleased to try and provoke Serbia. It’s also interesting to note that despite Belgrade sending objections to the EU there is silence from that quarter.
Who is behind all this? I’d say it’s the US. It’s now getting extremely frustrated with Belgrade’s unwillingness to impose sanctions and cut off relations with Russia. Serbia is joining in military parades in Moscow, accepting Russian military aircraft as gifts and soon holding exercises with Russia only 30 KMs from the Croat border, plus I believe Medvedev is arriving with a horde of business people with him in September.
Remember that recently Serbia hosted the leader of the No1 economy in the world for 3 days. How many days did he spend in the rest of the Balkans? Not one day. Something is a foot.
The problem is that the US has a very short attention span and once it does not succeed it will turn away and leave Croatia like shag on a rock to deal with its mess. The EU will be weakened in its position in dealing with Serbia as Belgrade will through this in their face at every opportunity. This could also strengthen the movement of to abandon the EU in Serbia.
What have the Serbian people learnt? Croats are Croats and will never change and the EU is no better.

The reason why no one is reacting is because you are in no position to lecture anyone about those things.

There never any sanctions on Serbia because of war crimes of Milosevic in Bosnia.
During the Bosnian war there were sanctions on Yugoslavia in general and some on Bosnia and Bosnian Serbs
Later there were sanctions on Serbia because of Kosovo crimes.

There never any sanctions on Serbia because of war crimes of Milosevic in Bosnia.
During the Bosnian war there were sanctions on Yugoslavia in general and some on Bosnia and Bosnian Serbs
Later there were sanctions on Serbia because of Kosovo crimes.

WRONG!! Milosevic was found NOT GUILTY of all charges that were brought against him. Conversely, Tudjman was found by the court to have been involved in a criminal enterprise whose goal was to drive Serbs out of Croatia permanently. There is no decision by ICTY finding Milosevic NOT GUILTY of all charges that were brought against him, unless you are able to provide evidence of such decision...

But there is a decision by ICTY that terminated all proceedings in the Milosevic trial because of the death of the accused.
