The article proves my point, The 800million is a loan, not a donation. This work will be paid for by the Serbian people. Yet here it is with an article in the paper
I'm not trying to take away from anything that non-EU countries do for Serbia, I am just pointing out that compared to the EU, both Russia and China get fantastic publicity for anything they does here.

In the years 2000-2013, EU donations to Serbia are over 2.5b euros, EIB has provided 4.3b in loans. EBRD has invested 3.5b
In the same period China has donated 3.6milllion euros and Russia even less( over 5000 times less)

Its not that the loans are not welcome but the Russian helicopters and weapons - paid for by Serbia, the bridge over Danube - paid for by Serbia. Oil from Russia - paid for by Serbia (and Russia charges more that it does to most other countries).

Id Serbia joins the E.U. she will be just another Bitch of the West. Imagine that....selling your soul to your enemies....the ones who invaded and murdered you forefathers....shame shame.....The economy sucks everywhere. Most Americans can't even take a week vacation in a year, because the cost of living exceeds their income. Thank god for credit cards!

I would love to know how much Russia and China have invested in Serbia compared to EU?
Perhaps you could share where you got this information?
My guess is that EU has invested 10 times what either of China or Russia has done in investments, loans and donations, but I am willing to be proved wrong.

Eu investments, despite being larger and of more direct benfit to citizens, get very little publicity.
I think one problem with the EU is that they dont shout enough about how much they invest. This is the first article I have seen where the EU seem to be trying to get this message across.

Russia shouts from the rooftop and gets a 3-page newspaper article if they drop a loaf of bread in Serbia.

Belgrade on Water mostly to be paid for by Serbia citizens who mostly will never afford to live there - if you look at government newspapers you would think UAE was investing/donating billions.

Most of China's investments are actually loans which are used to buy Chinese goods. The new bridge over the Danube was not a gift to Serbia.
Chinese government bank loaned the money to Serbia who use that money to hire Chinese government companies to build the bridge.
The interest rate may be better that commercial rate but it is still a loan.

No, it's Albanian propaganda. Kosovo doesn't have anywhere near 2 million people. 10,000 is a number Albanians love to use and tend to add 1,000 to the list every year. Same goes for 20,000 Albanians raped. Big numbers to make a statement that has no actual evidence.

Yes, I agree Vucic should become more visible and vocal as McAllister suggests. He should take his whole administration and move to the EU if he is so addament of being part of it. Maybe he could be granted fast track refugee status just like the Muslims so he can continue his disrespect of Serbia from a safe distance. It is clear that he is not a true Serb but a puppet of the American establishment... He has forgotten our suffrage for the love of the country...He has forgotten our nationalism... He has turned into a true American patriot with the love of Wall Street. Maybe he should become Hill Billy Clinton's campaign manager she'l take real good care of him. At the same time he could have coffee with his long lost friend Madeleine Albright... What a despicable shame.

Serbia is a criminal state with criminal people, I only met a few serbs that said "i dont understand the claims of my country when it comes to Kosovo" and felt bad of the crimes their country had committed in the Balkans.
Serbia needs to get its shit straight, recognize the damage and stop the bloodshed that has left Balkans in dark ages. Albanians in Kosovo and Albania and other countries in the Balkans are ready to move forward, they have always been, but serbia keeps abusing with everyone around them.

And when he talks about money the EU has contributed, thank you very much, but it is a bit rich coming from the same countries that did 100billions worth of damage to the country on a false pretext of genocide in Kosovo. As far as I am concerned, you still owe us about 98 billion.

When people talk a lot about what they want you to do, it's because THEY can't really do anything about the thing THEY are trying to change.

It appears the West has a problem.

The problem is that they made that problem.

So they should fix the problem.
