Satirical show host gets death threats for "insulting Serbs"

But the article doesn't mention the ridiculous things this host actually said. Insulting to say the least but also racist. In Beograd, the hip, cool, trendy thing is to be anti-Serbian. It's a sickness that has long been prevalent within a small group of the country's elite. I don't condone death threats, but the host deserves to be condemned for his disgusting behavior.

BTW, being privy to daily ratings nation wide, the show scores well in all parts of Serbia... Even Sumadija where a majority of my peeps live...

I said that I don't condone death threats, nor am I advocating that his right of free speech be taken away. I am just pointing out that such hate speech should be condemned by others expressing their right of free speech.

No, if this were ISIS, he'd already be killed. Just like what would happen if he were Albanian and made fun of Albanians. Before he was Borat, Sasha Baron Cohen's character was Kristo, and Albanian journalist. He had to change it to Borat a Kazakh because Albanians threatened to kill him and his family if he didn't stop insulting Albanians.

No wonder so many Albanians join ISIS. Similar mentality.

Journalists in Serbia should always be 100% on the side of Serbs. Serbs have suffered far greater and far long than anyone else in the Balkans. Journalists making jokes about Serbs is just putting salt in the wounds. It's a form of sadism.

I decided to strongly advocate for the right to a sane satire, instead, when I first discovered Stupcat, a group of Kosovo Albanian comic actors. I've never heard any of our dozens of politicians or pundits criticize our society the way these guys do, and this is why I'm proud these guys are Albanian. Instead of fighting back like 'delicate flowers' who can't endure any kind of humor because it might hurt our dudes' 'patriotic' feelings, we should all strongly support them. THEY DON'T NEED OUR VOTES, folks, they don't need our daily flags of hypocrisy and false patriotism and it's just fine as long as we have some people able to do that.

It sounds to me like this journalist was spreading hate. Maybe B92 should report exactly what he said so we are better informed?
