Serbs don't get along with any of their neighbors, nobody in the Balkans likes them, and they caused unbelievable nighmares to any of their neighbors, and don't even want to see it. They do draw the line at anyone who has good relations with Russia, coz those are 'real' nazis, not the lovely pet ones including those already in the EU. What involvement did Serbia have with the Nazis and concentration camps? Serbia was under Nazi OCCUPATION and was bombed by Germany https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Retribution_(1941) and then directly militarily occupied. It's a very sickening insinuation to say that Serbs are somehow responsible for their occupation when they organized not one but two anti-fascist resistance groups to chase the Germans out.

Serbs were killed side by side with Jews during the occupation and it's no wonder that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Serbs are the one of the few nations in Europe who truly have nothing to be ashamed about during WWII. Once he learned of the crimes being committed by the nazis, Archbishop Stepinac put his life on the line to save people, especially serbs. He supported an independent Croatia, especially from serb oppression after WW1 under the kingdom of yugoslavia which the serbs controlled, but he was by no measure a fascist. he was threatened constantly by the nazis for helping Serbs, Jews, and Roma. He was imprisoned and tortured. In fact, most Croatians were of the same belief during WW2. Hence the Partizans which were first formed in Croatia by Croatians. It's time serbians get their Stepinac history from Croatians of serbian descent who were actually there instead of far away belgrade which has a long reputation of inflaming things in the former yugoslavia for the purposes of enlarging greater serbia. Here is the honest reply, Croatia and the past Communist Yugoslav government has tried to equate crimes of the Ustasha to the Chetniks. For one , Croatia and the Ustasha sent troops to fight against the allies, it openly declared war against the US and its allies, Serbia did not, it was occupied. The same goes for Albania, until you get that through your thick head, there is no justification for a statue of Stepinac or Pavelic. Pretty soon statues of Hitler, Himmler, Mengele, Goering, and others are going to pop up in Brussels.

as mentioned before both the croatians and serbs have been playing a similar game, if serbia wants to win it will have to do the unthinkable. the unthinkable is that it will have to BE HONEST. Its high time the serbs say no more falsification of history and be honest with the actual events and say this is what we did but we will NEVER do it again. Moreover it should set the moral standards and not play their (croatians) game. I dont think that the protests will do anything to the croatians nor will it change their stance but dont be like them. The biggest loser will be serbia if it becomes an agent of evil too. I hope somebody understood what i meant, its difficult to express myself with a few words.
