Serbia's membership negotiations not on agenda in Brussels

The Netherlands did not put the issue of opening Chapter 23 in EU's membership negotiations with Serbia on the agenda on Wednesday in Brussels.

I'm afraid that this is what happens when Balkan countries have an opportunity to veto each other, they simply reopen old wounds and attempt to rewrite history because they believe they have another country over a barrel. Nikolic and Vucic should call the EU's bluff and withdraw their membership application and invite Putin for an urgent state visit. Let's see how tolerant the other 27 are of Croatia's behaviour at that point. I hope very much that Serbia will remember this period and won't attempt to use its own veto in future, should they have gain membership, against other Balkan states.

This is the main reason why EU will fail as all these banana countries bring their frustrations into EU, and EU becomes the prisoner of such politics.
