These cases are not connected, and they didn't happen at the same time, but there were transplants in Kosovo, when donors (or victims) got their organs extracted in Pristina and the receivers were rich people, if I remember correctly from Israel. This case came into the light when one 'donors' collapsed on the Pristina Airport after being prematurely released from the 'hospital'.

You're right. The headline should have read as something like "Dick Marty reacts to Albanian culture of murder and intimidation as another KLA war crimes witness is assassinated." I'll admit there's little deviation from the actual meaning from the original article, but it could have been more productive in reminding readers that this is an ongoing problem in Albanian society, despite repeated assurances PDK and AAK officials have "nothing to hide".
