There are quite a few candidates and there is an extensive process involved in selecting the final candidate for the Secretary-General position - the United States does not have the principle decision making authority.

The US (like China, France, Russia and UK) can veto any candidate they don't like. Whether you want to label it as "principle decision making authority" or not, does not really matter :)

What are you 2 goat herders smoking?

I have to commend you on your vivid imaginations while you are high.

What song is about killing again? Please remind us all.

Vuk is lucky to have had served in the U.N. already, which is different than say your family "serving" U.N. members.

US will never allow it.

Regardless, with constant criticism from you on Vuk Jeremić's candidature, the pertinent question is: who and where is the Albanian candidate? Oh yeah, that's right!

During his time at the UNGA Vuk "over my dead body" Jeremic also:

1) Tried to put one UN institution (the UNGA) against another (ICTY) when the latter did something that Serbia didn't like.

2) Purposefully chose to play Serbian songs that offended several members of the UN due to their content and relation to the killings in the 90s. I am sure Serbian folklore does not lack other types of songs, about love, etc, which could have been played.

These, I am sure, are just what we know of from the media. I am positive there are other actions that are completely contrary to his words.
