Hi SJ, as with most of your military related comments you confuse opinion with knowledge. For your information, the US does not fly the Eurofighter Typhoon. So, either the article is wrong and it is something else or you are wrong in your assumption as to who was flying the aircraft.

This is not about you, or who you like and do not. This is clearly about NATO putting Russia in her place. NATO is the strongest alliance in the history of any force ever out together.

If Russia truly had balls, they would have shot them down as someone else suggested in his previous comment. Fact of the matter is they do not, Turks just punk'd Russia not too long ago. They shot down 2 of their jets because they violated their airspace.

If this had happened to U.S. Russia would have ended as we know it. Russia is noting but a scam, they sure do talk a big game, but they always come short. This is why Serbian government has chosen to go with their enemies U.S. and EU over a rotten Russia, as much as they love Russia.

There was a plane shot down over Ukraine but there is no proof that Russia gave an order to shoot it down.
Maybe you are thinking of Ukranians themselves making it look like it was Russia or at the very least rebels inside Ukraine but they can't even prove that.

Back from extended trip (and been in both RU and U.S. the same time) I am really worried if an average villager home near Moscow looks more decent inside and outside than the same thing in rural Texas.

If no one else, I am familiar with the Dollar / RUR math of the families on both sides. It does not look very good for me. The positive: gasoline in TX is even cheaper than in RU. Unfortunately I do not drink gasoline and I do not eat cars.

If that would be the case, U.S. is in good shape for me.

I am so sorry, but I accept arguments from individuals who have permanent at-will access to both U.S. and RU, 7/24. Others do not qualify. ;-)

I did just came back from there Vietnam and I tell you maybe its after 41 years but they have animosity for China 100 times more, the boat raming and south china see issue is fresh in their minds and eyes.
