So what do we have in Palmira now? On one hand Russian FM says that no Russians took part in the operation. On the other the MoD headquarters reports that some Russian special forces took part in the land operation. One officer was even killed. Plus we have videos of the Russians playing football in Palmira and we have video of the Russian helicopters working in Palmira. To say nothing that the Russian planes made 156 flights to bomb the Daesh here. Finally 98 men strong K-9 unit was sent there to demine the territory. It all explains why the city was seized so soon because the Russian GRU Spetsnaz is a killing machine. So I wonder why should our FM say that we weren’t involved? The only answer that comes to my head is to increase the importance of Assad. In fact his role was the main and we also need to improve his negotiating positions. That’s what I think.

It was so but at least one officer who gave coordinates to the planes was killed there. The Daesh has revealed and surrounded him. So not to surrender he gave his own coordinates to the planes. We don’t even know his mane yet. Looks like he was a GRU officer. Because GRU is trained for combat and divertive operations abroad.

B92 thank you for mentioning the Palmira victory. like many other topo names in this country Plmira is a Slav name meaning ПАЛЬМА МИРА. We are told as if the city was built and rebuilt to meet the caravans moving from Ephrata to Damasus. But it’s clear that caravans need only caravanserais but not those fantastic temples and amphitheaters!

Also so little people lived in the nearby because they were needed only to look after the temples that also have Slav names. Temple of Bel God is the temple of the WHITE GOD + BELGORA + temple of Bel Shamin = the temple of the WHITE SHAMAN ect. In fact there is one more Palmira as second name of Sankt Petersburg has always been СЕВЕРНАЯ ПАЛЬМИРА.
