LOL, what special forces Milan? You must have seen too many movies.
Here is how it probably went: They were kidnapped for a ransom. There are really only two choices for Serbia there. 1) Pay the ransom, like for example Italy has done in the past a couple times (even though they will never admit it, but their hostages were somehow freed miraculously). 2) Not negotiate with terrorists and not pay the ransom, like the US does, or at least that is the policy we are told. That means to abandon the hostages to their fate. Now, since they were still in the hands of those terrorists, guess what Serbia chose.

At least Serbian special forces should have attempted a rescue mission despite all the potential political and diplomatic fall outs if this mission had failed.

Milan,
The only thing "Serbian special forces" are known for is killing defenseless children, women and the elderly. In fact, they have had no special training at all, they are simply degenerate killers.

What do you know about Alb. names, please? Check and see!
Albanian identity is not based in any religion – we have our names. 98% of Albanians use names based in Alb. identity or names which have a “meaning”.
Do you use Biblical – names?
Usually Alb. names are difficult to pronounce especially for Italians.
Firstly!
I find hard – very hard, to believe that Albanians use to tell that they are Serbs, hell never – especially in USA – nobody care.
Secondly!
But, do you really have time in a nightclub to ask somebody where he’s from?
Thirdly!
How many Albanians have you seen (not “known”) to know what they do when they smoke?

Dear Serbian crusher,
Thanks for your comment, very enlightening. But I must inform you that it's nonsense. If every country got their people out of Libya a long time ago, how come the American ambassador and staffers died?
Contrary to your imaginary world view, Serbia kept the embassy there, because Libya did the same when we had it rough because of nato. It's what you do with friends. Selling weapons and mercenaries, right....orthodox ones too, lol. How long do you think negotiations last dude? How can Serbia tell the US something it doesn't know, or did you think the terrorists told them where they are?
But any ways cheers dude, another perfect example how Serbia is to blame for everything right?

"Serbian Crusher",

Even though I despise people like you I have to admit that I have to agree that Serbia should have done more to free the two Serbian hostages. However, I have no doubt that the Serbian government had tried to negotiate their release and that other countries were aware of the situation. In countries like Libya it would be extremely hard to figure out where hostages are held. If the Serbian government knew where they were held and if negotiations had failed or never took place because the Serbian government could not get in touch with the ISIS terrorist and the risks were manageable then at least Serbian special forces should have attempted a rescue mission despite all the potential political and diplomatic fall outs if this mission had failed. My thoughts go to the relatives of the two killed diplomats.

Wow, are you ever ignorant! You sound like you're related to Gjon Marku.

Four years after the US murdered Muammar Gaddafi, Libya is in turmoil, split between two rival governments and the armed factions who back them. Parts of the north are under the control of militants, criminal gangs and tribal fighters.

Obama claims the death of Muammar Gaddafi a foreign policy success. The Obama administration's involvement in Libya and that country's subsequent descent into chaos was what caused the failure.

Please don't ignore me, I really want to know.

P.S. Why do all Albanians in the USA and other western countries NEVER tell people

Why y'all mostly present yourselves as Serbian or Italian at night clubs and use false

This is nonsense.

1st) Blame your own government for their gross irresponsibility. These supposed "embassy staff" we're being held for a year and they did nothing? They didn't pay the ransom. Period. Talk of "they were almost reaching and agreement" is BS.

2nd) Every other country in the world with half a brain pulled out their people a looooong time ago. Why didn't Serbia do the same? What "business" does Serbia have in Libya? Why were they even in Libya? Perhaps they were there to cut deals and make money even though it was an extremely dangerous situation and place. Not very smart.

3rd) What kind of business were they conducting? Perhaps attempting to cut deals to sell weapons because that's all Serbia sends to the Mideast, weapons and Serbian Orthodox Mercenaries,

4th) Something is very fishy about this entire story. How did 2 Serbians exclusively end up in ISIS hands and nobody else? Sounds like a deal gone bad and they ended up as hostages.

5th) Serbian government never told the USA about the hostages? Why? Because most likely they were there doing shady business and didn't want to upset the USA. They thought they would solve the deal somehow and they would be released before anyone knew.

Serbia failed their citizens. Period.

What puzzles me really is how did it manage to find its way on every major international airport as the exclusive news provider? Why is there CNN in Schiphol and Toronto Pearson and Heathrow and Oslo and Fiumicino ... oh, yes, I forgot. The problem with that is that the US has a reputation of needlessly killing its allies though its lack of professionalism. Ask a soldier who they think are the most dangerous to everyone, including themselves and they'll say 'Americans'

Nikolic signs law giving immunity to NATO not 24h hours later Serbs being bombed again by NATO. I don't think fate can speak louder to you than this.

U.S ambassador offered condolences.
What about an apology?
That would mean admitting wrong doing.
The U.S has a firm stance on never apologising to anyone.
That way they are not liable for any compensation in the future.

If NATO and the U.S had to kill fiftey civilians in order to kill five terrorists, they WILL KILL.
They will sleep comfortably at night.
COLLATERAL DAMAGE!!!!!
Knowing Serbian diplomats were in there made the decision easier.
They were not American diplomats.
One international law for NATO and U.S and one for the rest of the world.

"Avni" & "Serbian Crusher",

I would like to give people like you a Bär Jude treatment. Of course B92 is equally responsible for posting your comments that go against its own rules. Keep up the good education.

Serbia failed their citizens. Period.

Sad for the victims and sympathy must go to the families.

So called IS are an insult to humanity, and an insult to any form of decency.
