Patriarch: Perhaps it's not time yet for pope's visit

In fact we have one single church outside the Orthodox World that we consider a sister church. And it is the Catholic Church. (All other churches are considered as heretic sects.) So it would be logical if the 13 Orthodox churches to confer on Crete this summer develop a joint stance concerning their relations with the Catholic Church. Then the position of each Orthodox church will be stronger.

Serbian and Russian Orthodox Church have said many times that they are closer to religion of Islam than Roman Catholics.

I am not sure that the our churches could say it the way you wrote but today I gave you my first like because there’s much truth in your words. Simply because in 16-th century Islam and the Orthodox church were still one CHURCH. I can give a lot of evidence about it but it will lead us away. And it will shock everybody if I start to place original Russian prays of 16 century like :
