When clicking onto of the links posted in Mike C's comments I noticed a photo of a fellow with his back facing the camera where he's wearing what appears to be a backpack that says 'F**K POLICE' on the shoulder part and since I'm assuming that he's an ethnic Albanian I'm curious would it really "set off" ethnic Albanian cops if his backpack or whatever bore the words 'Q**SHA POLICINE' or 'POLICINE Q**SHA' which may be the translation of 'F**k Police' in the Albanian language. Why I'm asking such a question is because it's possible that some Kosovar-Albanian cops including some Albanian civilians don't speak nor comprehend English.

"You Albanians have always stated that your religion is Albanianism which really translates into Muslim supporters"
(Peggy)

So, is our religion Albanianism, Atheism or Islam? Your statement is so contradictory it doesn't make any sense. Typical Serbian comment, completely void of logic.
The truth is that you will always hate Albanians whether they are Atheist, Christian or Muslim. You will always find a way to blame us and a reason to hate us.

It was urinated on because it was Serbian church land. If it weren't a Serbian holy place, it would not have been targeted. Danilo, you know this, Unmik knows this, the peeing protesters know this, yet only you pretend you don't understand.

Danilo

Define "holy site", Marko. This is an unfinished building that has never been used in a church.

I'm not "denying what happened". What happened was that some people peed in an unfinished building that's never been used consecrated as a church.

There's nothing "holy" about this building. It was built in 1995, during war, on the grounds of Pristina University library as a symbol and assertion of serbian hegemony in the region. It was never finished and never used as a church.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christ_the_Saviour_Cathedral_(Pristina)

Perhaps you're using some strange definition of "holy" that I'm not familiar with.
Perhaps you're using

marKo

pre 8 godina

I am hopeful that the posters who are saying that this isn't a Serbian holy site, and that there is no proof (even despite Unmiks statement) are only denying what happened because they can't accept that their countrymen would do something like this. I hope they are merely hiding from the truth rather than actively participating in a lie. I hope that one day you will expect your people to live in peace, and go about their lives and even protest peacefully, without peeing in someone's holy places

Poor comment (-2)
What's this? Before I hear all the Serbs crying "jihadi", "terrorist" and other non-sense, let me clarify that I'm an Albanian Christian.

====================================
What does you being a Christian have to do with it? You Albanians have always stated that your religion is Albanianism which really translates into Muslim supporters. Christian Albanians are no different to Muslim ones when it comes to hating Serbs.

It also might could be KLA's newest weapon of mass destruction.

He told a news conference that Kosovo police had shown much restraint and had not responded until protesters started using Molotov cocktails, noting that police used only regular anti-riot means, Pristina media reported.

Yes, and that was the problem. Observing desecration of an Orthodox church and doing nothing was not enough. If the 'protesters' (or better call them hooligans) are not stopped right on time, they go for more.

It's a danger, in Kosovo people learned in the last decade of the 20th century that violence against the state and minorities pays off.

And so the 'self terminators' think they can do the same again, attacking policemen, stoning houses owned by Serbs and so on. This time the government are made from ethnic Albanians, but that doesn't matter for these nationalist who want to unify with Albania and spit on the head of the 'multi-ethnic, democratic Kosovo'

Throwing Molotov cocktails at police and government buildings and urinating in Churches....

This is the Kosovo Albanians, they attacked Serb government buildings and police in 1998-99 and now they attack their own government and police and urinate in Serb churches... These Kosovo Albanians are as civilised as ISIS, they make ISIS look like school children... They kill Serbs, attack their churches and cemeteries, steal their land and rape Serb children... This is happening under the protection of NATO...

Is the Serbs acted like these people and started burning police cars and attacking government buildings and urinating in mosques, it would be all over the news, it would be like the end of the world, how could these Serbs act like this....! But my friends, the Serbs are civilised, we have more respect for people of other cultures, we only fight terrorists and people who pose a threat to us... But what threat do these Serbian lovers of God pose, they are not threatening anybody, they are not burning cars or buildings or urniating in mosques, they are living peacefully while the people around them try to kill and terrorise them, must NATO really protect these Albanians which pose a threat to Serbs and their culture, NATO once again proves that it is unable to protect the Serbs or their churches....

NATO has clearly sided with Kosovo Albanian terrorists, NATO and the Kosovo Albanians pose a real threat to Serbs and Serbian churches... This cannot be tolerated.

This is absolutely wrong if it really did happen, most of the times it is hard to believe what comes out if this media outlet.

I know for a fact Albanians, Bosnians, and Croatians had it far worse than Serbs urinating on their religious sites. Serbs have done far worse than you can imagine, so I can't sympathize Serbs knowing that what they have done, this is nothing compared to the hard times of 90s people went through at the hands of Serbians.

Please Peggy don't say the Albanians are looking for excuses to punish Serbs when your are alot worse.

I searched this news in all Albanian media and other media ( non serbian ) and i didn't find it.
And all I have to tell to B92 is that a serious media don't make such a statement based on "he' said or "she" said, without having any fact.
By secure i must tell, that those churches were 'overprotected' during the protests, furthermore there were a lot of reporters and photographers.
So, if it really happened there will be a lot of videos or photos.
I'm sorry B92 but such articles don't make honor to a serious media.

Danilo

Oh, please. B92, you're REALLY gone downhill, publishing all kinds of sensational crap.

This building isn't "a church". It's an unfinished illegal construction started in 1995 on the grounds of a library as a big FU to everyone by Milosevic.

It's never been finished
It's never been sanctified
It's never operated as a church
It is not now, nor has it ever been "a church".

Dear Guest - first of all this is about Albanians acting in the most elegant manner (not). There is no pity required for the Serbs but rather for these morons. If you want to bring up the past then how far back should we go? But thank you for highlighting the fact that they are not from Kosovo.

Comm. Parrisson
