Bosnia won't join NATO unless the Serb member of the Presidency agrees to it, something that is about as likely as my giving birth. Aside from the obvious disquiet that Serbs feel about an organisation that bombed them twice in the 1990s, once Bosnia joins either the EU or NATO any chance of independence for the RS is gone for good.

Quite the opposite! This hasn't been given enough attention. Croatia borders part of Serbia and they are hoping to acquire ballistic missles with a range of 300 kms. This is an outright threat. Protecting your country and people is one thing but provoking is another. You can already see that the US and NATO are playing with their pawns in the region. The Balkans as a whole need to get together and avoid any 'help' or outside influence from anyone. Otherwise, we're all on the same path again.
