Turkey's conflict with Russia "has no bearing on Serbia"

It should have... if Serbia is a true friend of Russia.

Ahmed Davidson is the most influential politician in Turkey with 90% of the state power in his hands. Most experts in Russia believe that it was him who provoked Erdogan to bring down the Russian plane. Erdogan is an insane with no place to run today. So Putin will be satisfied only if both scalps are hanged on his nail. Russia has already staked at dismounting this hostile state forever. Kurds arrive to Moscow one after another. A no fly zone for the Turkish planes demoralized Erdogan and his people. They fear to fly in the Turkish air because as soon as a civil or war plane rises it can feel itself in the snipe of the Russian radars. So they do not approach their own borders closer than 50 km. Erdogan and Davidson are both hunted by Putin so I wonder if Vucic is really going to make friends with them all ? Turkey asked Byelorussia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan to settle their conflict with Russia but Putin rejected them all. So what is Vucic hoping for now that Russia introduces new sanctions against Turkey every week. We do not twist hands off and we agree for EU membership, our Churkin equally represents both countries, we are the only state to provide Serbia with unconditional wide range moral, military, economical and other support. And we do it all from the bottom of our hearts while it’s because of Serbia that Russia got engaged in the Montenegrin games. So the prostitution must be stopped before it harmed our relations and Serbia is swallowed like it neighbors.

This troublemaker from Turkey is, unfortunately for Serbia, going to succeed in his mission to piss off the Russians. Serbian politicians can be bought with only a couple of business deals....tsk. tsk.tsk...

You Sir are showing more concern for money in your pocket then money in the pockets of Serbs who live and work and strive to raise their families in Serbia. Just the way Russia supports you ! What if Russia offers financing of new churches and monasteries in central Serbia instead of those in KiM ? Will you like to have a copy of the Монастырь Высокие Дечаны in Novi Sad or Pec ? Why not if it can settle the problem with 200 hectares that irritate the Shqiptars ? Because there are things that stop us to be rational and even reasonable. When D.Mikhailovic rebelled in 1941 he and his chetniks weren’t reasonable and rational too because they had zero chance to even survive. Serbia is a neutral country that wants to stay out of NATO, and does not want to antagonize anyone. Serbia should not tangle itself into the problems of the world powers. Let them work it out and leave Serbia and the Serbian people in peace. Serbia should trade with all, and ally with none. It should promote peace in Serbia and outside of it. The best thing the government of Serbia could do for Russia and Turkey is to invite them to talk out their problems when they are ready.

On an economic note, with the Turkish stream in doubt, Serbia should lobby Bulgaria and Russia to reconsider the South Stream.

Does Vucic know a country outside Srbia where websites are copied in Српски as the only foreign language ?

I think that today kissing Poroshenko would be a smaller insult to Russia than shaking hands with PM Davidson. Russia will destroy Turkey in any case but some of the Serbs will need good fantasy to find words that Russia will accept when the job is done. So best if Vucic stops it right now. It refused to add sanctions against Russia
It has had many meetings with Russia about joining the EU and Moscow is not adverse

This current tension is between Russia and Turkey and Russia is well capable of teaching Turkey a lesson. Serbia cant influence this current situation beyond moral support (which it already provides).

Serbia wants FDI and if Turkey has it, then Serbia should take it.
This does not impact relations with Russia in my opinion.

No more need for that. Now that Putin found another playground in Turkey and Syria, he will soon 'forget' about his plans to shut down delivery via Ukraine in 2019.

P.S: This 'turkish stream' was (and is) as likely to be realized as south stream - i.e. maybe 5% likelihood. In the meanwhile, there will be an additional line in the North Stream pipeline realized.

I have been living and travelling thru the Balkans in the last 3 years, and found how quick Serbia- Belgrade is moving forward with business, infrastructure, economically, etc,etc.
I was shock at Belgrade progressing with infrastructure.
From 2002 ,it was moving at snail pace.Since 2013,Vucic has come to power, foreign companies ( Japanese, South Korea, USA,Russia,Italy,Austrian, German, Turkish,Chinese and French etc,etc) have expanded their factories. While UAE,Belarus, Kazakhstan, Norway, Swedish, Croatian,Greek,Holland,and Danish etc,etc are investinh.
I seen that for myself coming back from Australia, living in Serbia.
Finally the Communist are not running Serbia and world countries have faith to invest!
Vucic didn't get a good price for Telecom Serbia and didn't sell it.Don't forget Vucic is only selling company's that don't make a profit and can not stand on its own.
It's easy living in the state's to judge Vucic being a Prostitute with Serbian economics.He has to get things moving,play with 5 chairs(Russia,China,USA,EU,Arabs).Long live Serbia and it's people!!
