Pristina: Deal on Serb municipalities won't be renegotiated

Isa Mustafa must implement the Constitutional Court decision, otherwise he must resign or become another Rahman Morina for Albanians and end up like him.

The ZSO is OK but must have much less powers-this is the decision of Constitutional Court of Kosovo.

The Kosovo government said on Thursday it would neither annul nor renegotiate the agreement on the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities.

And why not, if it is not in line with The Republic Of Kosova's constitution?
I give it a zero % chance that Serbia will go to war over it, and if she does then Kosova's majority Albanian population should be ready to defend her sovereignty to the last drop of blood, period!!! When Kosova was part of Yugoslavia Serbia brutally stripped her of her autonomy & powers, now the government of Kosova should gladly return the deed!!!

Leave it up to Europe's Youngest Democrats to look like idiots all on their own. ZSO goes through this unnecessary review by Kosovo's Constitutional Court - a judicial body with little to no independent power to provide some sort of symbolic idea that an international agreement accepted by Kosovo's leadership in August will be ratified despite the EU pressuring Kosovo to do so. Then the expected ruling comes back positive but with a few minor tweaks to appease the nationalists and extremists who have been tear gassing parliament for weeks - tweaks which no one knows and revisions that mean nothing since ZSO hasn't been established yet.

Top it off, the rationale is that agreement was "not fully in accordance with the spirit of the constitution of Kosovo - especially the articles on equality before the law and fundamental rights and liberties," which implies Kosovo's constitution - nay the "spirit" of Kosovo's constitution somehow has a problem with equality before the law and fundamental rights and liberties - both of which seem pretty undeniable considering the horrible justice Serbs face under this ridiculous system.

Top it off with a statement from Kosovo's government stating the deal on ZSO won't be either annulled or renegotiated. Well thanks! They've just contradicted their own attempts at independent free-thinking since that's exactly what they're trying to do.

Pristina can clearly see that its feeble attempts to look like a government no longer garner any respect from anyone. Any renegotiation will simply elevate the status of the ZSO. The Albanian Kosovo nationalists no longer have a narrative to sustain. A Greater Albania is the only card they have left to play and even the most sadistic voices in the EU do not find that amusing.

Nobody has contradicted him self. You just dont understand the difference between the Brussel Agreement of 2013 and the Article of associations of 2015.

The Brussel Agreement of 2013 is in accordance with CC of RKS but the article of associations of 2015 are against the constitution. This is also the reason why there is no need for renegotiations. The Brussel Agreement leaves wide room for interpretation for RKS and the CC can make adjustments anytime as long as ZSO is going to be implemented. How ZSO is going to look like, well thats a different story.
