That is what all this wrangling in the Balkans from the USA, England and Germany is all about, murdering Russia! What is the dead line that the USA has placed to implement this death of Russia operation, is it maybe to be complete by 2025? How does a poor little Serbian siroce know all this? I only say to you my Dear Serbia, always think about God first before you do any thing next! Today Russia in a most difficult position in the history of all times! Czar Vlade trying all possible means to avoid war! And if the war comes like I predict it will, the world will become so severely damaged that even the ones who survive the fire and poision will not have the will to continue! Joining the EU is like jumping onto the Titanic--it can't last the way it is. The structure is a bit similar to what is in the US and I can tell you, the big states bully the smaller and weaker states. Guess where all the undesirable things go (like nuclear waste, garbage, etc). Larger states like New York and California (who simply have a totally different political climate from the rest of the United States) control what the rest of the country does. Most people just stopped voting because however they vote, it doesn't seem to make any difference.

This might be true, but what happens if it's not about EU, but about joining NATO you can see in the case of Montenegro.

Romania has done well economically after a brief relapse in 2008-2009. I like the fact the GDP as a percentage of debt is very low, so this economy is sustainable and does not need to borrow extensively to grow. The same cannot be said of Serbia, Croatia and Greece as they continue to increase debt loads while GDP is stagnant.

The only problem with the Romanian economy is the distribution of wealth which is mostly in Bucharest and the low average EU wages you correctly pointed out. However, they are in a much better position than Greece, Serbia, Croatia and Bulgaria visa via against many of the economic indicators including employment.
