These comments are deeply concerning, mainly because all of you are missing the bigger picture. He's the Defense Minister for Gods' sake, how easy can it be to replace this position, and if it is that easy then maybe he wasn't for the job to begin with.

I'm not saying what he said was right, it was clearly wrong and unprofessional given his status, but his role is bigger than a stupid remark many of us are probably guilty of spewing once or twice in our life times.

I don't like this politically correct world we're living in where merit means nothing and someone else's feelings mean everything.

Did the apology come as part of a resignation statement? If so, one can assume that he is genuinely sorry rather than simply saying whatever it takes to hang on to his job.

Seljak acting like a seljak. Too many seljaci in the Balkans running the show. They are easily corrupted and fall too easily for nationalistic rhetoric.

I would say Serbias neighbours have nothing to worry about when these types running the country, sadly these new chetniks seem brighter than old ones.

"As someone who works in the media industry, I have heard worse, been told worse than this. People need to toughen up."

Worse than this, from a politician, even a minister, who should represent the state? Or from a random peasant? I doubt that.

P.S: Sorry, didn't want to insult any peasant, they probably have more manners than this minister.
