Even more weddings and New Year celebrations ahead. The innocent kids just were confused with calendar.

Or maybe they wasted an other grenade instead of using it properly against violent military nuns of Gracanica or Sith Lord monks of Decani?

The new Star Wars is not out yet, let's wait few more weeks.

Wish you a grenade-free Christmas anyway.

The Force is with us, we do not need grenades.

I find hard to believe: Of how the Albanians in south Serbia are blocking Serbia in something, are provoking Serbs, are calling Serbs savages, of how the head of muslim community is calling for war. ( After all the Serbs destroyed a lot of mosque ).
Albanians is south Serbia have a lot of problems even with the education in Albanian language.
Albanian gov. and media don’t encourage them against Serbs like you do.
And is absurd to me of how the west don’t permit to Albanian gov. to intervene – after all those are all Albanians. Nobody can chose again for their fate, for their flag and for that they like to do.

A bomb detonated yesterday in Northern Mitrovica killing an Albanian and there were zero comments. A bomb goes off killing nobody but damaging a Serb store and all of you scream "bloody murder". A bunch of disgusting Serbian hypocrites is what you are. Don't expect Albanians to feel sorry about this.

Venom is dripping from my fants? Really funny.
The truth is venom to you guys, I know but it doesn't mean I have fangs.
Do you deny that Albanians are making life for Serbs who happen to be unfortunate to live in the areas you are in majority a misery? Do you deny that Serbian homes and cemeteries are attacked. Do you deny that graffitti left on Serbian property is something you do?
This is the truth so trying to make me look like a snake is not going to make you look good.

If you don't know how Serbs are treated in Kosovo then you should educate yourself. I am not looking for a fight but I do want to set the record straight. There is no way that Albanians in Serbia are being treated even close to the way Albanians treat Serbs in Kosovo. Even Serbian cemeteries are not left in peace. How many Albanian cemeteries have been vandalized in Serba? How many houses damaged and broken into? How many Albanians have needed NATO escort to school and mosque? How many mosques were destroyed in Serbia?
So don't tell me to educate myself. Maybe you should befriend Google.

Radomir Markovic is not a reliable witness as he was on the prosecution list but reversed his testimony against Slobodan Milsoevic during the Hague Tribunal.

The "tribunal" passed away during the testimony of Rade Markovic, former head of the Department of State Security of the Serbian Ministry of the Interior (the Serbian Secret Service). Markovic was cross-examined 26 July, by Slobodan Milosevic.

Mind you, the prosecution called Mr. Markovic to testify. He was "their" witness. That is, for some reason they expected him to testify in their favor. And yet, he testified against them...

1) Mr. Markovic testified that the Milosevic government did *not* try to drive ethnic Albanians out of Kosovo during the NATO bombing. Quite the contrary:

"'I told (local officials) that presidential orders are that the flow of refugees must be stopped,' Markovic said during cross-examination by Milosevic..." (AP, 26 July 2002)

2) Mr. Markovic testified that Milosevic came down hard on anti-Albanian hate crime:

"'More than 200 criminal charges were filed against members of the police, and I think a similar figure stands for the army,' said Markovic..." (AP, Ibid)

Some news wire services reported the above points while trying to downplay their significance.

People confuse self-determination with "I do whatever the fuck I want", but this is not what I support. I support it only within legislation.

We must not forget that most countries, not only Kosovo, are very young democratic nations. They have a background of repressive regimes. Its like kids growing up with violent parents now becoming violent too (the countries, that you`ve named, are perfect excemples for that). Basic human rights, free speech, equality, diversity etc. are merely promises from politicans. The reality is, if you are a minority living in easter or south-eastern europe, you`re fucked!!

(Gjon Marku, 1 December 2015 10:52)

I find it hard to see how Albanians in Presevo & Bujanovac are suffering any worse than the Serbs that still live there. No doubt the economy is really suffering in that part of Serbia. Still, I don't see how racial discrimination is the source of that. Kursumlija is a town not too far from that region, and it is just as poor with a 100% Serbian population.

You aren't being oppressed. The victimization is getting annoying, I hope moderate Albanians find the courage to move past such petty behavior.

You're lying Gjon, and you know you're lying, right?

Serbs have already left your paradise. Serbs' houses are continually being stoned, the few Serbs that are still living in Kosovo, mainly elderly and very poor people who don't know where to go in Serbia, have no chance to have a normal life in Kosovo. This is your multi-ethnic society, a totally discredited society. The Albanian media outlets don't even report on what is happening in Kosovo. Rita Ora and Ciljeta and our soccer 'heroes' they all sell more, right?

Don't be so damn fake, Gjon. Buddies, my buddies, you're really making me spit out those few bits of 'shqiptaria' left. So bad, could have been Thaci's best adviser on foreign policy, actually. I mean it :)

Go make a chat with the Serbs, for God's sake. Go ask them how they feel, also priests can sometime be very interesting and wise people. Go visit those monasteries you wanted so much to be yours and you felt like they were yours, right? Just try to say 'hello, how are you today?' to the few Serbs left. For sure they didn't committed any crime, otherwise they wouldn't be there. And, most importantly, if you are failing to build a decent way of living for yourselves in Kosovo, that's not Serbs' fault, not anymore. No excuses, I mean. And you're using the community of Serbs as an excuse for your failures.

however when it comes to masses i disagree slightly.
rights for minorities is a must
rule of majority makes sense
right to self-determination is where i disagree because it is contradictory to the previous statement. this right negates the rule of majority. only prey nations allow for such a thing, predator nations do not and will not under any peaceful circumstances allow for self-determination. denying this privilege is not oppression on its own. if minority rights are preserved then that is all the majority should be required to provide. self-determination is a tricky subject. it works well when all parties are in full agreement, otherwise it struggles to work. czechoslovakia is an example of the former, where as ukraine could be considered a contemporary example of the latter.

Not so fast, Peggy dear! What makes you so sure it was an Albanian who threw the grenade. Recall the Panda Bar incident in December of 1998 when six Serb teenagers where slaughtered by men with automatic weapons. Serbs screamed bloody murder till they were, later, told by Dacic the killings were NOT committed by Albanians. However, he stopped short of revealing those who were responsible, though he knew very well the identity of the perpetrators. Obviously, it was the Serb MUP. Who else could it be, other than those that stood the most to gain by using it as propaganda against Albanians. I wrote a comment on B92 yesterday... On the tear gas being released in the kosovo parliament..

My comment went like this....

Kosovo Albanian MPs are not democratic and are stifling democracy by releasing tear gas in the parliament... I said the Kosovo Albanian MPs were lucky that it was only tear gas, if they were Serbian they would have had a grenade thrown at them...

So look what happens today... A grenade thrown at Serbians while shopping, they posed no threat at all to these jihadist albanians and they come and throw grenades at innocent Serbian shoppers... Exactly what ISIS would have done...

The Kosovo Albanians just keep attacking Serbs while they remain under the protection of NATO... This must stop, NATO must stop protecting these jihadist islamist albanians and allow the Serbian police to arrest those responsible...

If a Serb threw a grenade into an Albanian shop it would be world wide news, but because kosovo is a NATO protectorate, the jihadists get away with it... It seems that the jihadist ideology is still very much alive in Kosovo and that NATO is only able to protect albanians and not the Serbs... To protect the muslims and not the christians, to allow a jihadist culture to flourish over law and order... And people around the world wonder, they wonder why Milosevic sent the army in to kosovo, it was to eradicate these very same jihadist KLA which still pose a threat today...!

(Peggy, 1 December 2015 12:25)

Therefore, dearest Peggy, I suggest you get off your high horse and stop with the shrill tones, all the while venom is dripping from your fangs. Its unbecoming of a lady.

No I dont care about Serbs, why should I? What I care about is justice and consequences. I believe that everyone has the right to live in peace and equality. I believe in democracy, where minorities are granted the same rights as the majority. I believe in the rule of the majority. I believe in separation of powers and secularity. I believe in self-determination. I`ve seen you hate so much, it must be very sad to be you.

If you dont know how the albanian minorities are treated in Serbia, then read/watch the news. I`m not going to argue with you on something, you are choosing to ignore. If you are looking for a link or source fight, then I`m the wrong person. Educate yourself, google is your friend.

This just shows that Serbs and Albanians will always be enemies, there can be no reconciliation now or 100 years from now. I just wish our government to stop pretending and start arming and fortifying our borders. We should just abolish citizenship to all Albanians, maybe that will force them to go back to Albania. I don't even know why they remain here if they hate Serbia so much, i sure as hell wouldn't want to live in Albania.

I agree with you, except I dont think I was contradictionary. Because its tricky, I listed it at the End. All my previous points have to be met before self-determination is possible.

Some reactions here are not surprising. Most people in the balkans think that what I believe are fairytails and therfore I must be lying. Its too abstract to them, that I might really mean what I wrote.

There is an epidemic of savage warmongering nationalist who are no better than what they accuse each other of. Serbian minorities in Kosovo and Albanian minorities in Serbia are suffering because of men in suits and bigmouths on the internet. They're treated much much better than Serbs in Kosovo. At least Albanians in Presevo don't have bombs thrown at them, houses broken into, graves desecrated, and efforts made to erase their history and identity through schlock academics at the local university. I agree that the Internet radicalizes the situation but let's not be under any pretense these are primary causes of intolerance and violence.

Drymades

Albanian minorities in Serbia are suffering
(Gjon Marku, 1 December 2015 10:52)

I find it hard to see how Albanians in Presevo & Bujanovac are suffering any worse than the Serbs that still live there. No doubt the economy is really suffering in that part of Serbia. Still, I don't see how racial discrimination is the source of that. Kursumlija is a town not too far from that region, and it is just as poor with a 100% Serbian population.

You aren't being oppressed. The victimization is getting annoying, I hope moderate Albanians find the courage to move past such petty behavior.
