But they have been constrained by their superiors from speaking out. What's truly shameful is that since the conflict ended in 1999, the destruction, looting, desecration, and abuse goes on. One can understand these events occurring in the heat of battle. But to continue unabated for more than 15 years hence is appalling, and a grotesque indictment of the Albanian cultural mindset. Serbia has never paid its membership fee to UNESCO. By your reasoning Serbia should not have the right to lodge a complaint. The U.S. can easily pay its dues before any vote is taken, thereby gaining the right to vote on Kosova membership. Serbia can't even come up with a few bucks to pay for room and board of Serbian students studying in Tirana.

And it's ironic given that they didn't vote for Palestine membership because they felt that direct negotiations were the way to peace, not through voting at the UN. Now, they don't think so. No, it's the fault of the people who did it, i.e. the Albanian mob, and it's the fault of the propaganda outlets, i.e. Pristina media, who spread lies about some drunk Albanian kids. That's it. Today in Kosovo, churches and monasteries are still desecrated, and Kosovo authorities who are in charge of preventing that (i.e. the so-called KPS) look away when their clan mates are spraying graffity or are unfortunately 'on the other side of the building' when those things take place.

When the say in 2004, UN was in charge, do you want to say thet KFOR then should have reacted stronger, i.e. gunning down the looting Albanian mob instead of just trying to rescue Serbian monks from Albanians who wanted to burn or lynch them, and let the buildings getting destroyed?

I challenge anyone here to deny that they haven't at least once thought that there is something truly wrong with our world. And of course the US planes never bombed the deserts of Syria or Kurds instead of ISIL. They never parachuted cargos to ISIL instead of the Kurds. The US found water on Mars last week but they fail to find the multiple caravans of the crude oil shipped to Turkey and Mediterranean. And of course they help the Russians to bomb ISIL now …

Of course Russia or China could have simply made up the loss of dues by the US but unfortunately UNESCO had to trim their budget by more than 25%.
