Where is European leadership?

Where is European leadership?

Where is European leadership?
(factman, 18 September 2015 01:30)

Hey mate, you're not making any sense! That's like asking for the edge of the Earth! Europe is not a state to have a leadership therefore it makes no sense to ask for European leadership...

Joni,

For the sake of simplicity please regard Orbán as you would regard Enver Hoxha or Milosevic.

The difference is only that E.U. does not allow Orbán everything he would like, so he can't be Ever Hoxha. And he has far less power than the Milosh couple. However, his ambitions are higher than of Milosh + Mira, so if given proper time + power he can ignite the area and devastate good 40 million people.

He should leave the politics and go back to Felcsút and take car of their footy team.

"Vucic expects". Wow, Vucic has spoken. They guy is so sanctimonious, all he has to do is look a little dewy eyed and speak in even, solemn tones and the EU better leap. Or ... Or what? Is he going to soil himself? Break out sobbing? Set himself on fire?

Please Vucic, man up. Do something.

Orbánka, the mini-Mussolini as he used to be called in 2000-s changed his orientation about 25 years ago, not 20. He was indeed a "libsi" youth, fed by Soros & Co.

Before that he was in reform-KISZ (communist youth organization).

Than he became very-very Christian very-very illiberal very-very "conservative".

In the fact, he always was and remains a typical Hungarian Communist which is not far from a typical nazi or faschist, just depending how we see certain things.

4) Probably: Orbán is cooking the frog. He introduced many lawless laws already and need to introduce more to secure his position. He is no better than Milosevic.

5) True: some refugees are dangerous thugs.
(Ataman, 18 September 2015 12:27)

Orban has a big mouth now, but let us not forget that this windbag(a young liberal and Soros backed student 2 decades ago) eagerly supported all the US interventions in the Balkas,The Middle East ,Libya and other places.Maybe he should host those refuges in his garden ,there is enough place for hundreds of tents.

I have just one question?
Why Hungary don't permit them to pass?
The refugees don't want to stay in Hungary.
Let me tell my opinion - but i think if Slovenia decide to do the same like Hungaria then i see something well orchestrated here.
(Joni, 18 September 2015 09:49)

There are several reasons, some have nothing to do with refugees.

1) True: the numbers are extremely high. The Hungarian infrastructure (trains, busses) is not strong enough to deal with such number of people.

You need enough eateries, trains, water, busses... and toilets, too!

2) Probably: Orbán's position was weakened in recent years because he basically "stole" people's private pensions and savings. One thing he did more-less correctly is to "upgrade" foreign-currency (Swiss Franc) mortgage debt into Hungarian Forint.

There were other very unpopular and very stupid moves (like closing major grocery shops on Sunday). Many of these eroded his popularity in favor of Jobbik (essentially a fascist) party. So Orbán tries to beat Jobbik by being a bigger fascist than them.

That involves tormenting the migrants as they are a very easy target

3) True: there are different international (EU) obligations Hungary has to follow. But: the government does cherry-pick ones they like.

4) Probably: Orbán is cooking the frog. He introduced many lawless laws already and need to introduce more to secure his position. He is no better than Milosevic.

5) True: some refugees are dangerous thugs.

You can keep dreaming about an "EU response, comprehensive solution" cause the EU has not done anything to stem this flow of people from the beginning. And damned if you do, damned if you don't Serbia (as usual) cause if you had closed your borders you would have been accused of inhumane treatment (and ethnic cleansing of course). Now you treat people good and you end up with closed borders and lot's of people on your territory that you don't have the capacity to look after for. And you're accused of 'helping the flow of migrants' while it really isn't your problem.
For the EU the problem is solved cause the refugees/migrants are not in an EU country nor are they in an unsafe country.
And just like you received little help when you were flooded with refugees from Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo, now you can expect little help from the EU. You do your best Serbia but a good deed never get unpunished.

Serbia does not have a workforce shortage - they have high unemployment.

Also, the migrants don't want to stay in Serbia or even Hungary. They want Germany and Sweden.

Serbia needs to fortify its borders with Macedonia and close this migrant route, as they've already allowed in enough.

The migrants should apply for asylum in Turkey, which is a safe and large country, and also Muslim like them.

As much as I support Serbia, where was the Serbian police at the border crossing? They should have been there from the beginning, not just turning up well after the shit starts flying.

It's one thing to criticize the Hungarian handling of refugees attempting to force their way in to Hungary, but it smacks of incompetence that Serbia was not taking responsibility for its own side of the border.

Conractor

Serbia left both of its border crossings to Hungary unmanned intentionally. Only the Hungarian police and the mob were at present. So. please do not complain. Hungary should have closed all crossing to Serbia indefinitely.

LOL suck it. Serbia didn't create this problem, NATO did. And Serbia has plenty of houses? What about the houses of the 250, 000 people that the Croatian Ustashe expelled? Or the 135, 000 that were expelled by the KLA? Plenty of room there also.

Serbia is the only country in the region that is handling this situation in a humanist way. Croatia is already preparing to close the borders after simply one day of this stuff. Serbia has been experiencing this for over one year!

So basically what you are saying is don't expose Croatia's and Hungary's fascism and intolerance, keep them in Serbia. But I agree it shouldn't be their problem either. Take it up with your masters who actually run NATO and the EU.

LOL

pre 8 godina

In other words he expects money. Please don't be fooled Merkel and Obama. Serbia has plenty of empty houses and workforce shortage. Don't bully Hungary and Croatia to open borders.
