"No rush" is a euphonism for "Never".

Let it be never.

Mind you - all religion is a bad joke based on self deception, so even the concept of 'saint' is stupid.

Serbia, "which is a bridge between Russia and the EU, and China and the EU" could also represent "a bridge between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church."

While you're at it why not make Serbia a bridge between China and Japan, the Faroe Islands and Cuba, and Merkel's car and the penguins of the south pole?

"He added that Pope Francis is "carefully monitoring everything that is happening in Kosovo and Metohija, aware of what the scope of the persecution of Christians and Roman Catholics had been there."

You have a shameless liar for President, LOL. No way the Pope said that.
What Kosovo has is lazy politicians, who should make statements and protest about this, call him out on his lies, involve the Pope, since Nikolic is putting words in his mouth. Like Serb politicians do with every single thing.

Oh, dear!!! But of course, Serbia is the most important country in the world, God's chosen... Serbia also controls the UNSC deciding which countries become UN members and which don't. Serbia is the ultimate global authority that grants certificates of statehood and no entity can become a state without Serbia's consent. And Serbia even decides what languages exist or don't exist! The world and the universe really revolve around Serbia :)

Wow, he came away with a lot from a 35 minute meeting with the Pope in front of reporters.
With Nikolics command of languages, he most likely did not have a clue what was discussed.
The Pope has taken the Catholic Church on a new direction of accepting those the church has shunned for years. He welcomes the poor, and the divorced, the gay and Nikolic to have conference.
I don't think that the church has ever been in a "hurry" to canonize a saint. Most take decades in the process. Recognition of Kosovo, to say that there is no plan at the present to recognize Kosovo as a state means what??
Does a state have special meaning to the church? Does he interact with Serbia on any matters with Kosovo, instead of with the people of Kosovo?
The acceptance of the Roman Catholic Church on independence of Kosovo should mean absolutely nothing to a country that has a very small Catholic population. To those people should mean some.

Disagreeing to not recognizing Kosovo does not mean agreeing with Serbs. In the future Kosovo will be recognized by the Vatican, it is just a matter of time.

Vatican , Part II

The Emperor was killed during the siege of Constantinople but other members of the Dynasty flew to Vatican where the Patriarch had arrived in 1448 when end of the Empire was already seen. Later he became known as Pope Nicolas V who established Vatican on the other side of Tiber River. He brought the gold and the library of Byzantine and launched his anti-Horde campaign that ended with Reformation Period when under the pretext of M. Luther’s reforms Russian governors of the “German” lands rebelled against the Horde and helped the Romanovs seize power in the White Horde - the main of all the Hordes. Vatican Popes with Constantinople routes stood behind it all. Jesuits and Dominicans helped them rewrite the history of mankind to wipe off the Great Slav-Tatar Horde’s memory and explain why former governors of the territories became Kings and Princes of Europe. Vatican sponsored J.Scaliger and D.Petavius to write the new version of history. Christian history wasn’t an exclusion. In 1572 during the Gregorian reforms they sent the birth of the Savior 1000 years to the past and declared him a Jew. In their new version Judeans, Israelites, Jews and Hebrews became synonyms. In fact all famous rulers of the world including Jesus Christ, Mohammad Rasul ul-Allah, Genghis Chan, Caliph, Julius Cesar, Dmitry Donskoy, Suleiman the Magnificent, Fernando Cortés ect. belonged to the same Rurikovich Dynasty and spoke old Russian that was closer to the current Serbian.

Bishop Stepinac has been named and confirmed as a cardinal only in 1952, surely he wasn't a cardinal during WWII. He is remembered as a timid cleric, not a great theologist, suspicious and sometimes even hostile to the Ustashi regime (his brother had been slaughtered by the Ustashi), but lacking power to stand up against fascist butchers. He was also a fervent anti-communist, a fact that eventually cost his life.

I hope that Nikolic understands that the Pope is publicly pleasant to everyone; that's his job. It doesn't mean that Francis agrees with what was being said to him or that he will take much notice. I have no idea what the process for declaring someone a saint is, but I am fairly certain that whatever is involved will not change as a result of this meeting. As for Kosovo, it seems that leaders in Serbia are already acting as if it has gone for good which, in practice, it has.

Conflict between Vatican and the Orthodox Church started as conflict between descendants of two good brothers from the Rurikovich Dynasty = Georgy Danilovich (elder) and Ivan Danilovic. Georgy decided to put an end to the world war that by that time lasted for already 134 years. In official history this war is reflected as Trojan War, Crusaders Wars, Gothic War ect. He destroyed the Latins by sending troops not to the Mediterranean but to Europe itself. Between 1318 and 1324 being at the helm of the Great Horde he seized eastern and central Europe and then he was poisoned. In the decade to come his younger brother Ivan finished the job establishing control over the continent. He appointed governors to every region of Europe. For better control he established several centers of the Horde in Europe. One of them was Vatican named so after himself. Bati Khan was one of the names of Ivan Danilovich. The problem between the descendants of the two brothers appeared in 1380 when Ivan’s grandson Dmitry Donskoy ( killed as Murad I in 1389 on Kosovo field) introuced Apostle Christianity and moved the religious capitol of the Great Horde back to Jerusalem (Tsar Grad) and settled there. He called the city Constantinople after himself. So he ruled the empire from there while descendants of Georgy ( St.George) stayed in the the previous capitol of the world - Vladimir city. Peak of the conflict was 1453 when Vasily II also known as Mehmet II seized Constantinople.

" Contribution of the Catholic church to the common good of Serbian society " ? My family all those who were murdered and the very few of us that are still alive know that Roman Catholic contribution all to well! Yes we the innocent that lost every thing, our homes, our lands, our personal belongings and finaly our lives! Did any one out there ever see it printed or mentioned what happened to my family and me in our ancient home land Srpsko Malo Dalmatinsko Kosovo some seventy and then again some twenty years ago? As a matter of fact did any one out there ever see it printed or said what happened to all the Serbian people who lived from ancient time in what is now proclaimed by the USA, England and Germany as Croatia? So we Serbian people just vaporized into thin air, right? Christian Eastern Orthodoxy erased from the face of the earth in what is now proclaimed by Satan as Croatia! So tell me about all that contribution the Vatican will bless Serbia with! Like I say many times, Serbians need to be very carefull where they go, they should not go where they don't belong! Italy's ANSA news agency said that the pope and the Serbian president spoke for 35 minutes, and that Nikolic presented a copy of Dusan's Code - a legal system enacted in the Serbian Empire in 1349 - to his host, along with an illustrated monograph dedicated to Serbian Orthodox monasteries in Kosovo.

Surprise, Nicolic did not say thanx Pope for not recognizing Kosova. Also, just read the above carefully and see that he never mentioned Kosova as heart of Serbia , but he only speaks about Serb Monasteries, which in reality they were Roman Catholic shrines but converted to Orthodox by force!!! POPE knows all of it and Nikolic just made himself an big ASS.

Hey Guillaume! Glad to see you're still enjoying your knuckle-dragging paradise. Have you struck out on your own yet, or still getting support from mommy-in-law?

Of course, I have some people on here that don't like it when I state the obvious. However, obviously, it slightly different some people finding things controversial on a small-niche website and a baffoon of a sub-literate president making grandiose proclamations.

"No rush" is a euphonism for "Never".

Let it be never.

Mind you - all religion is a bad joke based on self deception, so even the concept of 'saint' is stupid.
