This is a very simplistic reasoning. The illegal Third-world migrants don't want to stay in poor Bulgaria, either, yet the country is suffering too from a sharp increase in their numbers. Those illegals passing through Serbia who have no extra money to pay human traffickers to circumvent the Hungarian fence will naturally be stuck in Serbia and keep staying there.
