This resolution would have done lasting damage to the region if it had passed. It is time the UK admitted all of its crimes, it was heavily involved in the Bosnian war, helping to illegally supply weapons to criminal Muslim and mujahideen forces. It supported Croatian forces at a time hundreds of thousands of Serbs were being expelled. It assisted the illegal bombing of Serbia and allowed hundreds of thousands of Serbs to be expelled from KiM. It was even involved in the Afghan massacre (or genocide) involving 8000 prisoners (men and boys). Check -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afghan_Massacre:_The_Convoy_of_Death

"Facing up to the past?". You mean like UK troops embedded with kla killing fleeing serbian refugees. You mean like that?

Suddenly the Hungarian wall is sounding like an appropriate decision, maybe other countries will join in and contain the hate to one place until it just withers away and then can be reopened in a couple hundred years.

The world is disappointed that you have yet to return the Elgin marbles to the Parthenon (from where you stole them in 1801-1812).

Great Britain knew this would not pass, that was not its purpose. Its purpose was to embarrass Russia and force it to be associated with the successful western demonization of Serbia. Either Russia does nothing, and looks weak and is a poor friend to Serbia, or it does something and it is an enemy of Human rights.

The west is losing influence and the hearts and minds of Europeans, so it is making others look bad, and diverting attention away from itself.
