If the Muslims, Croats and Albanians think that they have nothing to apologise for now they never will so why should Serbia give them something they won't give us?
(Peggy, 3 July 2015 02:10)

But Muslims, Croats and Albanians are savages and low forms of life according to the most patriotic of Serbs... So, you are advocating that Serbs should be like that, too?!

You do something which is right, because it is right to do it, not as a quid pro quo for what others do!

Anyway, I understand that these simple concepts are alien to you since you are so depraved as to try justifying the slaughter of helpless 14 years boys!!! Obviously you are incapable of distinguishing right from wrong.

Number 1, I don't think a single person ever really thought he might attend.
Number 2, I doubt any Bosnian citizen wanted him to attend.
Number 3, I doubt any international dignitaries would have died if a reported snapped a picture with them and Nikolic in the same frame.
(just saying, 3 July 2015 01:07)

Number 3 was supposed to say--I think any interantional dignitaries would have died if a reporter snapped a picture with them and Nikolic in the same frame.
Sorry for the typos

If 8000 Serbs were masacered in 1990s you would want to here the same for your people.

Yes we would but we know it will never come. History has proved that. Who apologized for Serbian casualties throughout the ages? If the Muslims, Croats and Albanians think that they have nothing to apologise for now they never will so why should Serbia give them something they won't give us? If they want genuine reconciliation they will have to acknowledge their part in the killing too. Serbia extended the hand of friendship to Croatia and Bosnian Muslims and Albanians after WWII only to be put through the same massacre again. This time they will have to prove being genuine and give our people the same respect.

The Muslims were cutting off the heads of Serb villagers in and around Srebrenica.
They beheaded Serbs within Srebrenica from the very start. They also killed a Serbian judge from Srebrenica.
The Muslim army good all the UN food. The civilians were kept in last place by the army and black marketers - who made big profits.

The Srebrenica Muslims were terrorists and their dead are all soldiers, with a minimum collateral damage.

It's shown on their own military records that their soldiers who died months and years before the fall are falsely being claimed as killed during the fall.

The Dutch soldiers saw no massacre - scores wanted to testify.

They saw the Muslim army walk out, many with their portable weapons, the evening and night before.

Some were killed in running battles to Tuzla.

Bilbao: I think you are going to be flooded with indignant Serbs telling you that (at least) 8000 of their fellow Serbs were indeed massacred in the 1990s, albeit not at the same time.

@Bilbao:

You're correct in stating or indicating that Germany has apologized or made amends for committing untold suffering in the duration of the 2nd World War and even if this is slightly off topic I just want to point out that from articles I read online claim that Japan hasn't apologized or hasn't genuinely apologized for the suffering it had inflicted in the duration of World War 2 and to "add insult to injury" I believe it that many Japanese war criminals were more sadistic than the Nazis even though that can be a matter of conjecture and/or it hinges upon who you ask.

I am disappointed in President Nikolic. As the leader of an European "Christian" nation, he should recognize the suffering of all victims and not condition it on anything someone else does or does not do first. The fact the Bosnian leadership is unwilling to admit blame does not absolve Nikolic, and his condition for attending makes Serbia look undignified and opportunistic.

As serbian comentators here each day talk about how others should do, why do not show the rest like Geramny did that you are sorry and by leading with example the others will follow. Pride is what has kept Serbia behind and Balkans but as you say you are the economic and poletical power in Balkans lead by example Go ask forgivness and let the rest be in shame of their crimes.

If 8000 Serbs were masacered in 1990s you would want to here the same for your people.

Mr. Nikolicker

The only reason you're not going is because your public relations in serbia would take a turn for the worse. You need to maintain your nationalist pride to maintain your position as a president, otherwise you'll be dumped instantly like many other serbian leaders have been. This is really sad, to see a nation that cannot move forward and acknowledge they committed a genocide in srebrenica.

The commemoration won't suffer because of his absence. I can't imagine that too many people will look around at the world leaders present and say "What a great turn out but it would have been so much better if Nikolic had been here".
