Wow all of these comments are ridiculous, they want a guy who protected civilians to get punishment but support guys who killed civilians like mladic.

Imagine.

They wont do it unless a guy who was convicted by ICTY for not doing anything to stop war craimes is able to attend.

Is there really anything else one needs to confirm that it is time to leave this fake country?

I see that these women have already tried him and found him guilty of nothing because he was "saving innocent Muslims who had no way to defend themselves" from being killed. What about his victims? I guess when it comes to Muslims only their lives mean something and everyone else is a waste of space and needs to be eliminated. The fact that he killed unarmed civilians and then boasted about it later is of no concern for these women.
They have just made themselves irrelevant.

If you are an organization to commemorate the victims, then why would you support someone like Oric who committed the exact same type of crimes on others? You want the world to feel your pain and denounce such heinous crimes, yet turn right around and fully support such pain and crimes when you support Oric. I'm sorry, but this is not healing in any way. This is actually called bigotry. You champion a man who killed and murdered people in a heinous way, glorify him as some 'defender' (there is no way you can justify someone killing civilians as a defender no matter what). He didn't defend anything, he didn't fight of military forces, he raided villages and murdered civilians. You glorify that, and in the same breath you try to denounce such actions when they happened to you. Sorry, but until Oric is brought to justice Srebrenica victims should not have a special honor. While I'm ashamed at what some Serbs did there, I can't feel their pain fully until they recognize what some Bosniaks did to Serbs and feel the same shame.

The authorities in Bosnia treat this murderer like a hero. This is a guy who sat down with western journalists and viewed videos of his and his men's ambushing and killing of Serb civilians in eastern Bosnia. He openly bragged about committing these crimes. The fact that the Hague reversed his guilty verdict is absurd and renders that court a farce. This guy is a bloodthirsty monster and to allow him to evade justice will only deepen the wounds between Serbs and Muslims in B-H and ensure that the region will remain a boiling cauldron of ethnic intolerance.

The Muslims, however, will be the biggest losers here though. There is little chance the federation will survive long-term. And when it implodes, RS will either be united with Serbia or independent. It would behoove the Muslims to learn to get a long with the Serbs there because at some point, they will need the help of the Serbs to survive. Right now, there is little chance that any Serb will extend a helping hand, and I can't blame them.

So sad, too bad

Wow, they are going to postpone the commemoration to support and defend a war criminal and mass murderer? That is so messed up! It's time for Republika Srpska to leave this abomination!
