You know perfectly well what i was alluding to:

Russia is calling the shots (the guy with the gas)

The EU is not calling the shots (the guy who wants the gas)

Serbia is just going along for the ride and a chance at energy security. Serbia does not care wher the gas comesfrom, but it realiEs (finally) that the EU does not want it to have energy security andits best bet lieswith the gasprroducer, not the gas middleman.

At the end of the day, economics is economics and economic growth needs gas. The Russians have out-maneuvered the EU who needs the gas for its econmies.

And you have this gas???? Should Serbia ever decide to turn the tap off at the exit point do you think the EU would hesitate to turn it off at the entrance point???
A good antacid will help whatever gas you have!!

Let's just see Brussels try and order Belgrade (not in the EU), to not go ahead with the Tesla pipeline. Vote for Europe, vote for poverty!

I read your post many times and really did not get where you wanted to go with it.
Yes increasing the capabilities of Nordstream does insure that the issues in Ukraine will not majorly affect oil flow to Europe. But then those in your camp have always touted that by cutting flow to Ukraine would only cause the EU to freeze. So not sure where you are seeing the win.
As far as the pipeline going to Turkey and then to Greece? Great news for Turkey, as for Greece IF it becomes a possibility would be a boost, but Greece has many, many, many issues to solve before anyone can boast a triumph.
And your comments about the Challenge of EU and Serbia over a pipeline that would run through EU countries then to Serbia and back to EU countries are just insane, because if at any point Serbia decides as you must think that EU can just take a hike, it is not going to happen. And if it does get built it will comply with EU rules because any oil flowing will cross EU territory and end up in EU territory. If Serbia(or you) thinks they are in any position to dictate any terms to anyone at this time, you are sadly mistaken.

“The extra capacity from Nordstream”

More than that they already reserved 50% of the NS as they demand to give half of the Stream to Gazprom’s competitors. But in any case South of Europe is too far away from both of the NS. So some solution must be found and the TS is a good choice. Gazprom means to have the capacities built before the Ukrainian transit collapses. Then it will be hard to ignore it one cold winter. Yet all the streams are only sequences as the problem is who must pay for the destroyed Ukraine. Initial idea was to create a Russophobe country and make Russia keep on financing it as long as possible. By refusing from invasion Putin made them pay for their client and this is why Brussels is in such a despair. They found themselves hostages between the two giants. Most likely Novorossian army can already destroy the Ukrainian one but if they start to set Ukraine free all Kiev’s problems will become ours. That’s why Putin keeps them in a stand by mood while local people demand an offensive. So I think that the best thing Serbia and the neighbors can do is watch the developments. Today is 74 years that we were attacked by Hitler and this mourning date they prolong the sanctions. But unlike the Serbs we do not ask ЗАШТО because we know the answer. I believe they have more urgent problems than we do so we can take time. Let’s see who will wink first in their conflict with Greece.

In other news, Gazprom has just signed a deal with European energy majors to double Nordstream capacity and a deal was signed with Greece. No surprise at as I have pointed this out several times before.

Brussels can huff and puff as much as they want, but it is going ahead. The extra capacity from Nordstream builds in spare and future capacity for gas export to Europe even with the Ukrainian pipelines shut down. Ukraine can still get gas, but after is has gone in a big loop and its fees bumped up by the transit fees. Subsidies are done except maybe for the Donbass where Kiev conducts regular war crimes by shelling Donetsk (total silence about this in the West, except when it comes to Sarajevo!). What venal, evil, amoral hypocrites Europe has turned out to be.

Let's just see Brussels try and order Belgrade (not in the EU), to not go ahead with the Tesla pipeline. Vote for Europe, vote for poverty!

This is very weird because, if true, the EU believed they really had a chance that Russia might dump Serbia's involvement in this pipeline on the urging of the EU. That seems out of character with the relationship that has existed between the EU and the RF for a long time.

This shows clearly that the EU is Serbia's enemy - yet strings Serbia along with empty promises - all the while Serbia implements things which have damaged its economy and hurt its people.

Serbia must at least PUT ON HOLD its EU aspirations.

First,

There is no future for Serbia (or other CEFTA countries) in the EU.

The EU is a rich man's club. and all the CEFTA countries are deceiving. themselves.

it will not change theendemic problems of the region.

Those can only be changed by each CEFTA country acting responsibly for itself.

When each does this, then maybe you can compete in the EU.

if you can't even do the basic things yourselves, how can you possibly do the advanced things required to be in the EU?

Second,

The Eu does not want a strong Serbia (with energy security).

Geopolitics has not changed in 1000 years nor will it change in 1000 more.

Serbia is geo-located in a place that is problemmatic for the West.

It also tends to do its own thing across history (thumbing the eye of the West). One of these things is its Russian association. And today that association is very problemmatic.

These dynamics require the West to keep Serbia down and compliant. One powerful way to do this is block it from energy security (cheap oil. so it can grow its economy).

Same story yesterday, today and tommorrow.

Nothing personal, just business.

The painfull truth and reality is that Serbia is sinking deeper and deeper into darkness every day. Serbia now completely surrounded by Hell, no tears from Satan will ever fall for Serbia, no one can or will help because Serbian cival leaders refuse to take the path to liberation from Satan. The Serbian EU and NATO dream such a waste of effort and precious time. The average Serbian living with endless economic and cival restrictions, no peace, no liberty and no freedom, only lies and deception. The Roman Catholic Empire has no desire for Serbia, not wanted, not needed, why can't Serbian cival leaders understand this and react accordingly? The USA, England and Germany just sitting back and laughing while Serbia is now being fenced in like dogs in a kennel. The death chamber being sealed, Serbia isolated and demonized now to face the Islamic Jihadist onslaught while the surrounding EU Roman Catholic nations sit back and enjoy the show. Is Greater Albania a dream or looks like to me a reality, Macedonia and Serbia will fall for sure as long as Serbian cival leaders continue the fantasy love affair with Satan. So my dear innocent Serbian Brothers and Sisters look where we all stand today, tomarrow will be worse than yesterday if the Serbian cival leaders keep on inviting Tony Blair to tea parties in Beograd and going on over to the Vatican to kiss the Devils hand and flying on over to the USA to be lectured bull crap by the Satan himself. Brussels stabbing Serbia in the back again? What a surprise.

To deny Serbia significant transit fees and have them go to Bulgaria and Romania says all you need to know. It is corruption at the highest levels of the EU.

Brussels can build all the pipelines it wants with its own money, but it only has its own hot air to fill them with.

If this is true, which is doubtful, it would only make sense as the countries listed are already EU states, why would the EU want the pipeline to run through EU and into a rogue state and then back into the EU. It would make no sense. Just because Serbia is in negotiations to join does not mean it WILL join and talks are not far enough along to draw any conclusions. Should Serbia fail in its commitment to join the EU, the pipeline could have been a source of headaches for the EU.
But the reason I say it is doubtful this is true, Russia would have jumped on the deal instead of ending south stream after so much expense and time.
