Serbia and the United States will sign an agreement on direct flights in the next few weeks, Serbian Minister of Transport Zorana Mihajlovic said Tuesday.

Well duh! The Chinese Embassy bomber came from Missouri, but according to Venik Aviation, it was hit and downed by Serbian anti-aircraft after it made the strike. It exploded and burned up near the Croatian border.

Why do you regard it as stupid when it comes to direct flights or intended direct flights between Belgrade & New York? Is it because New York doesn't have a large or prominent Serb community? But does it really matter especially when many people including myself regard New York as being a spectacular city.
However if a non-prominent or non-significant Serb community residing in New York is an issue it actually got me thinking that New York does or may have the largest Albanian community in U.S. and here in Canada it's Toronto that does or may have the largest Albanian community in my country so my point is that I'm somewhat surprised that Albanian Airlines appears to operate no flights at all to North America unless there's not a great demand from Albanian passengers residing in North America or perhaps North American airports may charge excessive landing or runway fees or whatever you call them that the airliner can't afford so who knows?
