Vaccination now mandatory for all children in Serbia

A written consent of children's legal guardians is no longer necessary to inoculate children in Serbia after parliament passed a law making this obligatory.

Innoculation is usually a good thing but to make it compulsory practice, where parents have no say, is not.
There have been cases where innoculations have had apparent side effects, the MMR vacine is a good example. It has apparently left some children austically impared.
If a vacine is controversial and there is no alternative available, i.e. having each of the 3 vacines that make up the cocktail of the MMR vacine injected seperately, then parents should have the choice to reject vaccination for their children.

This is good news. Child mortality will decline and disease rates will plummet leading to a safer and more healthy society overall. The discredited and fraudulent studies by the now disbarred doctor Wakefield have done so much damage to the civilised world. Good to see that positive steps are being taken to resolve this.

"Serbia doesn't make any kids...."

That's not true - tourist bloggers have recently noted a lot of pregnant women as well as a lot of kids in strollers and the like in Belgrade.

children ? Serbia doesn't make any kids....so maybe a total of 2000 kids will get the vaccine ?.....Serbia's birth rate is almost at 0.....they say Serbia's population will be 2 million in 20 years.....if that.......we know Serbs were 10 million in former Yugoslavia and now 7.5 million......if they don't change that they will be 1 million in 30 years and will be majority old in age........
